Food quality was good. Not sure of some of the flavour profiles (e.g. baby octopus in a heavy bolognaise-type sauce), but ultimately the food was of a high standard and pasta was fresh and home-made. Great atmosphere for a romantic or professional dinner setting with friendly staff and great cocktails. We stayed for over 2 hours enjoying the food, wine and cocktails.

Really lovely atmosphere, food and service! Our entire party really enjoyed our meals and desserts. A little more expensive than some places but reflected in the quality (but £3.50 for soda water and a dash of blackcurrent seemed very steep...) Our booking slot was limited to 2 hours due to the busy weekend during Burghley Horse Trials, but we were comfortably in and out in about an hour and a half. However, had we wanted to linger a bit longer over drinks, it would have felt rushed.
If you're looking for a romantic evening out, Amore is the perfect spot. The bruschetta is a great way to start, and the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli is a delicious main. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is just right for a special night.
Fabulous authentic Italian food. Brilliant service and lovely staff. Not the cheapest but well worth it. Definitely going to revisit.

I can't believe I've only just found this restaurant....we had a fantastic meal, service was excellent, all the staff were really friendly from the minute we walked in, food was wonderful,one of the best meals we have had in Stamford and will definitely be going again. Look forward to hopefully going to the cooking classes that they put on. Thanks for a wonderful meal
