I have visited this establishment multiple times for breakfast, dinner, and other meals. However, the food tends to be oily in the morning, which is a frequent occurrence. Therefore, I opt not to consume breakfast or carvery, although other meals are acceptable. The establishment is pleasant and clean. It is beneficial for spending time with family and friends, including free parking facilities.

If I could rate this place 6* I would.... food was excellent for the money, fresh and well prepared. We had the lemon cake for pudding, which was sublime, and even I, a dedicated cake eater, couldn't finish it!! The staff were excellent, the service second to none, very very friendly. A real gem and a feather in Greene King's cap!! I will most definitely be back.

Food was good. Pudding was hot. Only downfall was having to queue at bar to order food, only 2 people working at bar taking orders over the bar also taking drinks out to people who booked on app. Could do with more staff.

Asked for extra stuffing! Gave us Extra everything including some BEAutiful cakes..
Even wrote a lovely note on the bags..

Popped in for a spot of lunch, hadn't booked was sat quickly friendly welcoming staff. Ordered food at bar and food arrived in no time at all. Food delicious and hot. Had to get some cake as they looked fantastic! Was not disappointed!! Highly recommend! Will be returning

There is often only 1 person assigned to taking the order, payment and stopping to provide drinks (a long delay if having to also cover barista duties) as such the queue for the carvery is empty but the queue for the bar / ordering is back to the entrance door.
Once ordered the carvery experience is excellent. Hot food well presented with a choice of 3 meats (beef, turkey, gammon).
The takeaway option works really well and is very good value for money.

Been a few times now and can say that the food is great - especially the carvery, best I've had - with great service from friendly staff. Pricing is good and appreciated in these tough times. Atmosphere different depending on how busy and what time / day of the week etc. Booked a table in advance on every visit, just in case as being so popular it gets quite busy. Already looking forward to our next visit 👍👍
