Best Indian around to eat in. We have always used panahar. We have trued other takeaways/restaurants in the area but they do not offer the sane food and service. I would personally say eating in is better then their takeaway just because eating it fresh really does make a difference. Outstanding service. Great look on the refurb

Best indian restaurant in the area and I've tried a few .First time eating here since the refurbishment had a takeaway. Food is excellent the chefs here know what they're doing every dish is spiced lovely .This will definitely be my regular from now on Little tip call restaurant directly if you order takeaway uber eats very unreliable

Hubby and I have been going to Panahar for years and have always loved it. However they have just reopened the restaurant after closing for a few months for a massive refurbishment and I was blown away by the improvements on out first visit since the reopening. I can honestly say that the new improved Panahar is amazing! The new decor now warrants dressing up to go out for dinner and I was so pleased that I had made an "out out effort" with my evening wear as I would have felt seriously under dressed for the event otherwise. They have even overhauled the menu to include lots of new exciting dishes. Only issue is that it's so lovely that we may have difficulty getting a table now 😂😂

We've been going here for nearly 30yrs and have never had a bad meal. All the food is cooked from fresh so you have to wait a little longer but we'll worth it. While the decor may be a little dated the staff and especially the owners are great hosts and certainly make you feel very welcome.
