Spice Rack Lounge

We held a family dinner at the restaurant. The team were fabulous throughout the evening, from the moment we walked into a calm and empty restaurant, to the moment we left nearly 3.5hrs later. The restaurant became full over the course of the first hour and half, and service levels did not drop. Serving a group of 23 brings it own challenge whilst still looking after other patrons. A job well done. Food is definitely on point. Everything we ordered was on point. Papad Crispy Corn - Definitely being added to the order list next time we are in. Gunpowder Fries - Kind of like Nandos peri fries, but better! Salt and Pepper Broccoli - Was expecting a deep fried tempura version, but actually was not deep fried at all. A welcome change actually, and very well flavoured. Broccoli was still al dente which was a nice touch. Chilli Garlic Mogo - Different again from most places, as had a lasan (garlic) chutney vibe, but still managed to keep the Mogo crunchy. Vegetable Manchurian - The Manchurian balls did not get soggy and the sauce was brilliant, especially with the fresh crispness of the spring onions. Mari Chicken Tikka - First time we ordered this, and definitely won't be the last! Something very different to just the normal Chicken Tikka Seekh Kebab - Could have been a bit more girthy, but flavour wise, delicious. Tawa fish - Different to fish pakora, and I'm all for it. Felt like a Goan version with a semolina coating. Chilli Cheese Naan - Could have eaten this all day long, wish it was a less mature cheese, but I guess that's a personal preference. Chilli Paneer - Enjoyed by all the vegetarians, not really I dish for me as not a fan of Paneer in general. Daal Tadka - Loved it with the Tandoori Paratha Kadai Keema Peas - my preference on Keema is a slightly dryer version, which this was. Chicken biryani - Tasty and flavourful Jeera Rice - Exactly what it says on the tin Butter Naan - Soft pillowy and a perfect vessel for all the curries Tandoori Paratha - A welcome change to just naan

We booked Spice Rack Lounge for my parent’s birthday. We had the main section for approx. 60 guests during lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone had a great time and gave positive feedback on the food. The booking process was straight forward. We opted for the buffet style menu and selected the dishes we wanted from the Spice Rack Menu. The team was very accommodating and allowed us to add extra items which were not on their regular menu, they spoke to the chef's to see if it was possible and came back with a reasonable price. We also had a small number guests with special dietary requirements (no onions & garlic) and Spice Rack were able to cater for them too. We were also allowed to bring in decorations and set up before the event. Communication was great throughout. Food was delicious, piping hot and served on time. Good selection of drinks available from the bar. Staff were friendly and topped up the food when required. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend booking an event at Spice Rack Lounge. Thanks

Booked Spice Rack for my daughter's 3rd birthday and had 60 guests over. The restaurant is very spacious and the food was amazing. My guests kept telling me how amazing the food. As I had a buffet, there was 1 person standing there all the time to refill the food which was amazing. Still can't get over the veg manchurian Definitely recommend this place for parties and we will definitely have our next party here Shout out to all the staff- thanks you were all amazing and very accommodating
