Update from 2023:
Still the best place for coffee in Stanmore. Jazz music, helpful staff and better quality clientele. Some people abuse the hospitality by buying one drink, being their own and staying too long.
2018 review:
Always a great music list! Coffee is fine (espresso is better than at Starbucks and Costa). Staff are very timid / quiet, could use more personality. The old team seemed to be friends, the current team are more like co-workers and don't talk much. Compared to Costa nearby this Nero draws a slightly older / more mature / affluent crowd which is a plus if you want to work on your laptop or read.

Great place to grab a coffee. Staff are really friendly. Coffee is good. I got a flat white here the first time and then an espresso frappe type drink which was great.

Was with a friend and she had a cappuccino and I had a hot chocolate. Both could have been hotter. I had a cranberry and oat cookie. Very yummy😋

A nice place to have a drink and chill, the staff have been friendly to me and I really liked the peach and strawberry smoothie.
The tables could be cleaner though, you can find crumbs still present on the table or moved on to the seat after some staff cleans the table, and sometimes the tables don't get cleared at all. They may be understaffed though, since I saw the baristas constantly busy behind the counter unable to check on anything else.

Easily the best coffee. Love the app, easy loyalty card points saving method, love ordering as I walk towards the shop, and love the staff in Stanmore and the other branches I frequent - always friendly and dogs welcome! Bonus is the cracker prizes on the app!!

Red velvet cake was very yummy.
Really enjoyed it.
Also it was very clean
New photos added today vegan chocolate cheesecake tastes better than the normal one and cheese and tomato tostado my new favourite toasty.
