Bistro 101

Bistro101 Stanmore. Having eaten breakfast there once, brunch & lunch several times, we decided a few weeks ago that we’d give it a go for dinner with friends last night. And by the time we left the restaurant the four of us were absolutely delighted with our choice of food and venue. Service was so friendly and welcoming it was lovely (very well needed at the moment) and the food was delicious and served beautifully as was its presentation. Our dishes included mushroom soup with creme fraiche, duck salad, various burgers which looked amazing and vegan soya sausages with various side dishes. Desserts included sorbets and a chocolate flower pot. We all really enjoyed. So, obviously depending on where you live, if you don’t want to go into town, please try Bistro101 as it’s absolutely delightful. I’m looking forward to going again soon hopefully x

Food was excellent, great flavours in the Sunday Nut Roast. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portion sizes were decent. Visually nice, however it was stuffy in the restaurant with a lack of air circulation, so you come away smelling like the food you just ate. To try and counter this they had room sprays/diffusers which i can’t say helped, probably made it worse. Service was fairly slow, but the food was delicious, so worth it.

Saw the bistro online and decided to book a table for breakfast. I had the scrambled egg in toast and my partner had the avocado and poached egg. Both were 10/10 delicious. Attentive server and nice bright clean restaurant and very reasonably price. A little hidden gem in Stanmore you have to check out.

Went for New Years Eve dinner. Absolutely exquisite. Any observations are really nominal as all six courses were lovely and the ladies serving charming. Nice that Chef came to say hello too. Could have done with some parmesan with the ravioli and maybe more water inbetween courses. That said the wine choices with each course were fabulous, lovely environment of a small restaurant, maybe a little warm, but overall great evening and good value considered. Good luck with this new venture, you deserve a great success!! Returned for a date night! People of Stanmore, Bushey, Edgware and surrounding areas, YOU NEED TO COME HERE! Lovely people, great setting and interesting menu. Just look at this dessert - completely edible chocolate flower pot with mouse and side liquor, was awesome! And brunch good too - excellent value!

It takes a lot for me to give somewhere a total 💯 review but here goes.. not expecting to be blown away by this seemingly small but perfect little restaurant. It was by far the best local meal I’ve had in years. Delicious, innovative, charming and reasonably priced. Unrivalled in the area for sure. An absolute must for foodies. 👏🏻
