Love this place. If you want quiet you can sit in dining area, if you are out for a fun evening you can sit on lounge side. Food and service are always exceptional.

The Christmas atmosphere was great! We had wonderful service and great food. The special drink menu was inventive and funny! (I recommend the Beachwater!). We definitely will be back.

Very good food. Service a little slow but still not bad. The only problem was the live music. It was very good but way to loud. We could not have a conversation with the other couple we were with.

Drove to CLI from Grand Rapids for our 30th anniversary dinner. The old fashion and margarita were well crafted, the filet mignon and coconut shrimp were delicious and Chris provided gracious and attentive service. We also enjoyed the steel drum live music; it wasn’t too loud. Thanks for a lovely evening out. We look forward to checking out the deck in the spring.

CLI catered my daughter's wedding at a separate venue. Our guests raved about how great the food tasted! The staff was professional, everything was amazing beginning to end. We had some guests with food allergies and restrictions...staff were attentive and accommodated their needs. Couldn't be happier! Highly recommend.

Go for the atmosphere at this historic inn on the lake. Come full. On the short list if worst pulled pork I've had, sweet potato fries were fine but thick cut if that's not your thing. Deck patio was great, busy. Service was minimal but friendly. Prices are for the location. I would go again but order less cavalier and assuming I was safe.

Our family of 7 came on a Friday evening around 6 pm and and we got a table right away on the deck overlooking the lake. It was a beautiful atmosphere. Our waitress was great and appreciated the sweet hostess who checked on our table several times as well. The food was amazing and decent price. We will be back!

It's a very interesting place as it's more or less been in existence since 1871. Beautiful setting, great service, pretty good food. Great deck to enjoy dinner on the lake.
