One of Hertfordshires hidden little gems a beautiful friendly little pub with delicious food and a great atmosphere. A lovely sized garden great for families and pets. It's hard to find places like this nowadays so use them before it's gone 🏴

This is such a lovely venue and I highly recommend it.
We were celebrating my sisters birthday and the staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was 1st class. Next time I am in the UK I shall definitely visit again.

Amazing pub! Very quaint, great atmosphere, dog friendly and lovely beer garden. Food is outstanding and large portions given. We came here about 5 times during our recent stay in the area! Staff lovely and very attentive. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

Went again today, yet another lovely dinner, we sat in their massive garden for dessert, little one loved the play equipment in the garden.
The staff where polite and attentive will definitely be returning

The Rising Sun pub and restaurant are very welcoming, clean and friendly. The food is really great. We had fish and chips. Great value. It was beautifully done and quick service with a smile. Really fresh food and excellent chef. Nice and cosy fire. Great for kids too as they can run around outside while adults relax on terrace or inside with good view of play area.

We had a very nice birthday meal for my son.
Wasn't busy as it was just before new years eve. Five of us enjoyed simple pub grub done well. Good service and staff efficient and friendly. Will eat there again and recommend to my friends 👊
