We found the staff members to be helpful and attentive, in particular the young man who greeted us and looked after us throughout the afternoon.
The food was excellent and all 25 dinners arrived on time.
It was a special occasion so it was great that we had the room for as long as we wanted.
All in all a lovely experience.

I had a lovely night at the Fisherman tonight, the food was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly. A special shoutout to Linda, who served us throughout the night, was incredibly attentive to our needs and was very patient with our large group! Definitely worth a second visit.

Quaint little pub hidden away from the road. The food is good. Before it changed management, the food was delicious, then it changed and was bland for a while, but now, new menus have changed, and it is becoming a nice pub again.
The garden is a good size and they have a lovely conservatory for those that do not want to have that, 'sitting inside' feeling, especially in summer. Toilets clean, service can be a little slower during peak times, same as any other pub. They made a lovely light chicken kebab and rice dish which was delicious worth a try.
Menu does need more variety.

Reasonably priced food and portions, service was excellent tonight. A big pub with a lovely pub garden loads of parking and a really nice atmosphere for families. Easy to see why it is popular in the area. We booked a table and can imagine at busy times it would be worth doing this. Would visit again and well done to the serving staff tonight

Had a really pleasant evening tonight with my friend, lovely food, fantastic service and the young lady who served us was so helpful and couldn’t have done enough for us. I’ve been here a few times in the last few months and can honestly say I’m never disappointed. Great place to have a lovely meal, lovely environment and great value for money.

The Fisherman never fails to deliver, Sunday roast was quality, great atmosphere and friendly staff. There's usually a wait for the food, but this is expected because it's always busy. Highly recommended.

We booked for Sunday lunch, the fisherman was really busy, pretty loud maybe a bit too loud at times but we were served swiftly and the food was great! Some dishes were pretty large so if you’re not a big eater you may wish to forego the starters.

Doesn't matter if you've not booked 9 times out of 10 they will allocate a table for you. Service is fast, menu is excellent, and the food is piping hot and delicious. Love the covered / uncovered Conservatory , haven't eaten out in the garden yet, but that also looks lovely, with parasols, and shaded areas . Lovely place to eat or just have a drink.

Amazing food every time and the portion sizes are very generous. Excellent value for money and a really nice pub overall. The Lamb shank is amazing by the way and would so recommend this. 7 of us went yesterday and we was all really impressed. I'll be back again soon.

Second time here for a family gathering. This time booked an area for a large group of 31 for Easter sunday and and wasn't disappointed. Staff are excellent , so friendly and efficient. .order for lunch taken very prompted once everyone arrived and bought drinks . Quite a few had roast beef including myself and really enjoyed. Very tender meat. The pie was loved by my hubby and brother in law . Ribs I hear were a bit disappointing however . Stayed on for few drinks and was moved to another table as group got smaller. Didn't mind whatsoever as looked after at all times . Staff superb . Will be back for another family do as ideal for families . Thank you all for great service and a great day.
