There for a family meal, 5 adults, all very happy with our food.

Often pass here. Decided to stop for lunch.
Both had starters. White bait - really nice.
Squid - nice.
Followed by Beer Battered Fish and chips with peas.
Fish was amazing - very large and extremely gorgous, DELISHOUS. Peas perfect. Chips - a great fan at best of times.
No room for dessert.
Need to return for dessert another time.

Very quaint little pub. They werent doing dinner when I checked in but theres plenty of other pubs around. Breakfast was nice, bed comfortable and room was clean. Nice stroll up to old church.
One criticism and its not really fair as its a period building but the ceilings and door are unbelievably low. I had a cross beam across my room that was just begging to knock me out cold.

Wonderful place to stay. I tried to stay at the dog house but they were full. They kindly made some phone calls and got me a room here. It’s lovely very congenial. The room was delightful. Breakfast was awesome. There’s plenty of car parking and there’s a nice pub next-door recommended if you’re in the area and need a place to stay.

Stayed here for a conference and once as a stopover. Very nice pub with excellent staff and rooms. Location is a little off the beat and track but it's flawless as an accommodation.

Excellent place to visit surrounding business parks and Oxford. (50min drive ). Lovely staf- makes you feel at home! I had the rooms in the pub- characteristic bedrooms. Good beds-great shower-no noise at night.

Popped in after work with a group of colleagues just for a drink but we then decided to eat. Staff were great seeing as it was all last minute. They did explain there would be a bit of a delay on the food as they had a large table booked in that night which we completely understood. When our food arrived it was lovely and hot and tasted great. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I use to eat here a lot many years ago so it’s nice to see the pub in good hands again!
