My Wife and I go to Stirling regular and before we go I always book, well before we go, in order to get a table, as it is always busy! The staff and food are outstanding.
Would recommend you try this when you go to Stirling, but remember to book well in advance!
Breakfast was really good and great value for money. We went when breakfast with Santa was on and the kids loved it. Play zone was booked off exclusively for it and they gave the kids a great buffet breakfast with pieces on bacon ,sausage, hash browns, mini muffins and mince pies and lots of juice. Santa was even in the play zone with the kids they thought it was brilliant.
From the time you walk into the door, it's so warm and welcoming.
Had the wings as a starter. The meat melted right off the bone.
We arrived without reservations & was told no problem. We were seated immediately. Our server was a good surprise. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. It was around 6:00 pm on Thursday the 31st of August. She went out of her way to make our experience there exceptional. The food was beyond any PUB food we have had since traveling. If you are in the Sterling, Scotland area I would highly recommend you stop in.We had the steak & bbq platter. We left full & happy.
I went in today as a solo dinner for some lunch. I was shown to my table by John who was very friendly, attentive and professional for the whole visit. The food choice on the menu was really good, there was quite a few things I wanted to pick but went for the luxury Mac and cheese. I hope the photo does it justice as it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The restaurant is always clean, tidy and well maintained and all the staff I spoke to during my meal were so friendly. Thank you for a lovely meal!
Came in and got seated. Our server was Simon. He was always happy and so polite to talk to. We ordered our drinks straight away and they was very patient when we was ordering our food. We got a steak and two plates of the gammon. All cooked to perfection and came out in good time. Couldn't recommend this restaurant more. Will be back again.
We come here quite often. Food is good, but miss the service from Jacko as he is a really good waiter! He is really friendly and sociable. He should be serving customers more often as that position suits him best.
We were in on Tuesday, the food and service were excellent. Big shout out to Simon & Rhona for looking after us so well. The chicken sharing starter was amazing as was the katsu chicken & the gammon steak, all cooked to perfection. Thank you
Popped in for breakfast with my son while my daughter was at a birthday party.
It wasn't busy. Staff were very friendly. Food came quickly.
The breakfast menu was a bit fancy. My son ordered the fruity pancakes which said they came with raspberries, strawberries and blue berries but when it arrived it was just blueberries which was a bit disappointing as he was really only wanting strawberries - but I didn't ask for it to be changed.

My brother, my Gran, my niece and I all went here for lunch, my brother picked it because it had a large soft play area that my niece could play in, he hadn't realised that you had to book a table in the play area but the staff were lovely about it, letting us sit at a table while they had a small gap in bookings so that my niece could play.
The staff were lovely and friendly, so attentive and they honestly seemed like they loved their jobs. They served us drinks and our starter in the soft play area then helped us move through to our proper table when the time came, we had a absolutely lovely camembert wheel with toast and chutney to share as well as the sweet potato, chickenpea and red pepper koftas to share and both were lovely. The mains were lovely as well, Gran had a chargrilled duck salad which she said was very nice, my brother had the steak and ribs which he thoroughly enjoyed, and the ribs were really good as well, nice and tender, sizeable amounts of meat on there! I had the steak sandwich which was lovely, the steak was melt in the mouth, no grizzle, and tasted really nice.
We were served mainly by Linda and she was absolutely lovely, very enthusiastic and attentive, great with my niece and was really nice to Gran, offering her a takeaway box for the salad she couldn't finish and really quick at getting us anything we needed. A young man also served us a time or two and was nice as was the young blonde lass that was in the kids area, all in all a really nice experience and we would be really happy to visit again.
Had a lovely meal here with my niece and mum. The food was generous portions and delicious! Very quick and attentive service by Ali! Will be back for another visit.
Came for The sticky toffee pudding and Baby Guinness. The sticky toffee pudding was incredible.
We were visiting from the US. Met Rhona here at Spingkerse View, she was super fun and friendly. She taught me the proper way to hold up two fingers without offending anyone. When asked how many people in my party I said 2 and held up 2 fingers, the wrong way. Good fun fun tho.
