Lovely location, good food (small menu), friendly, helpful staff.
But the Google Maps location needs to be changed to recognised KUDOS as the new owners of the once Lillies Tea Room.
Such a cute little tearoom for locals and visitors, such as myself. Inside is cosy and friendly and outside (when it's dry) is situated alongside a stream, which is beautiful.
Whether it's just a pot of tea or a lunch, it's a great place to just take a break and chill.
Very nice choice of teas. Along the river, in a narrow street leading to the Marsh. Good scones with Jam and double cream ! That s what I came for !
Visited here for some refreshment on a Saturday afternoon. Had to wait 5 minutes or so to be seated as it was pretty busy, which is a good sign I guess. There is a small waiting area with seating so I guess this is a common occurrence.
Once inside, the atmosphere is genteel and relaxed, as you would expect of an English tearoom. We only had the cream tea so cannot really comment on the rest of the menu but the chap at the next table had steak and kidney pudding and it looked and smelt lovely.
I thought the prices seemed very reasonable especially as there was two scones with the cream tea. Not enough cream though...but there's never enough cream for me :-D
I've been to this lovely place twice this year. I come up here for work. I had a great experience on the first visit, that I was looking forward to visiting again for afternoon tea. Its cosy, warm and lovely atmosphere. I was seated as soon as I walked in, and served within 5 minutes, very yummy scones with lots of clotted cream (yum). I found the staff friendly and welcoming. The menu had a good variety of food for reasonable prices. I recommend it and will be back next time I'm in the area.
Lovely smooth coffee served in a cafetiere , perfect combination of soft and crumbly scones with just the right amount of jam and clotted cream. Smoothies are lovely fresh and you get a good choice. Would definitely recommend as we will be stopping here again when we next drive through.
We went as a group on Sunday the day of Trout n About so extremely busy. Considering the staff were rushed off their feet we were served quickly,staff were friendly and helpful and coffees great. All very pleasant.
A very friendly and cozy little place with very good items on the menu. Add to that great people there, and you cannot ask for more. Dropped in there on a motorcycle ride through the test valley. A most enjoyable morning. Thanks guys!
Fresh food home cooked, the cakes too. Friendly service. Really nice area Stockbridge. Outside seating, popular place in high season.
Good dog walking area.
I love Lillie's although my last visit the staff were a little unhelpful and we felt like a burden, however every other visit has been lovely. Food is great as is the coffee.
