Like a kid in a sweet shop!
Plenty of choice from ipa's, stouts lagers and everything in between.
If you fancy something that's not just the generic mass produced stuff then I definitely would recommend a visit.

Great little local business that has a lovely selection of local beers, Ales, etc. They also have many beers from other areas of the world. I have bought beers from here as gifts numerous times, and the staff are always willing to assist in advising what to choose. Which is helpful as I personally am not a beer drinker.
You can also get some locally made gin here in a wide variety of flavours from parma violet to sloe.
If beer or gin isn't your tipple then fear not some lovely wine options are available.

Great local beer shop with a great selection of British, German and Belgian beers. They also have a small but nice selection of good wines, ports and sherry.

Perfect place to find great beer sourced locally and worldwide. Especially great for anyone wanting to try beer from smaller breweries. If you're not a big drinker but you're looking to buy a gift, the staff are more than happy to pick something excellent for you!

Great place to drop by for a varied selection of beers, spirits, ciders and wine. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy or snobby. Dropped in on a number of occasions looking both for personal and gift ideas. Always come away with something new to try. Generally all items are labeled so it shouldn't be a shock when getting to the counter unless you get carried away by the selection on offer, I often am.

Friendly staff and a great range of interesting drinks, particularly ales. Decent selection of gins, including Forest Gin at a fair price (a particular favourite of mine which isn't always easy to get hold of). A good place for buying gifts for anybody who likes booze.

Popped in for the first time last week and was amazed at the size of the range. I asked for lager recommendations and enjoyed every single one, and also picked up a nice bottle of red. A lovely addition to the Heatons

Fantastic craft beer shop - great ever changing selection with knowledgeable staff, always happy to give a great recommendation based on your taste. Reasonably priced generally as well. Love this addition to Heaton Moor.
