Thom's Bar & Kitchen

We held our wedding reception at Thom's Bar! Thom helped us craft our own menu, and was super helpful and accommodating for any questions we had. The food was stunning, the atmosphere was amazing, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. It was the perfect setting for our special day. Generally we love visiting Thom's Bar for excellent food, lovely laid back atmosphere and great drinks! Fab little bar. Definitely recommend the halloumi salad and the yellow one smoothie.

Impromptu Saturday lunch that exceeded expectations! Fabulous cocktails and interesting menu. We sat outside because we had our dog with us, but we’re made welcome and received great table service. Food was excellent, nicely presented and well cooked. we will definitely return. Very enjoyable lunch !

Felt welcomed here - have been before late on Saturday night and it was good, however today we visited in the day time instead. Annoyed at ourselves for not visiting here in the day and for food sooner!!! Came here today, and so happy to see a full vegan menu with brunch, starters and mains. Really progressive and ahead of anything else on the top Heaton strip for variety of dishes (imo). Came here for food and relaxing vibes. Decorated lovely throughout. Great outside place out the front to people watch and there's a small courtyard space out the back to chill out. Thanks to the owners and staff. Really enjoyed my Spicy Vegan pizza - the chillies beat my personal spice stamina 😅. The vegan cheese choice on the pizza was delicious. My omnivore bf really enjoyed his pesto chicken pizza. Idk what the sauce is on the pizza base, but it's soooo tasty. AND we had visted on the Monday £5 pizza night. Great deals to be had here and their cocktails are tasty too. Thank you for all your vegan options, it really means a lot to have such a choice. And the staff make you want to stay/come back - so friendly. Will be back to taste the vegan breakfast!

Went to Thom's bar for lunch with my 2 little boys and sat outside enjoying what little sun there was and I have to say I was really impressed not only with the food but with the speed of service, quality of food we ordered and above all by the lovely staff. The two girls running things today we're friendly, chatty and really attentive. The club Sandwich I had was delicious and the boys had blueberry pancakes that were fresh and light and jam packed full of blueberries. It was nice for there to be more than just chicken nuggets and fish fingers on a kids menu and although I was driving the ladies next to me ordered cocktails that looked devine! I will certainly be recommending this wine bar to my friends and family and heading back as soon as I can.

Had the pleasure of eating here last night. The service from the young guy and head person was 2nd to non . In fact probably the friendliest on the Moor. The food and deal were both excellent. Probably the best food on the Moor at the moment. Vastly underrated Not 5 stars, because there's always room for improvement, Who ever you are.
