I went to Funky Monkey to have breakfast with my best friend. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Luckily we were able to get a seat before the big rush! There were groups of families (with young children), couples, friends and lots of small dogs. It was a buzzing atmosphere. The food was excellent and filling. Great value for money. We will definitely return.
Absolutely luv this cafe. We are vegans and happened to be in Stockport & found this cafe online.
Well worth the visit. It has a vegan menu with plenty of vegan options. We had the avocado toast & the falfal sandwich. Super tasty.
Luv the decor & atmosphere. Seats comfy.
Cafe has large windows so nice & bright.

What can I say this place never ever disappoints and has been a real community venue providing great food, AMAZING coffee and the friendliest service ever. I go all the time and I love the way they cater for old and young making everyone feel welcome. We are lucky to have such a great coffee shop that serves the best food and drinks whilst also doing all they can for the community. Well

I love it here. Lovely food, great atmosphere and (mostly) lovely staff. I did have one occasion when I went in with my newborn and a member of staff told me I shouldn’t breastfeed as it makes them clingy, I should switch to a bottle. As a new mum, who was already weary of breastfeeding in public, this wasn’t what I wanted to hear! Otherwise though, the other staff are lovely!
The place was very busy and the staff did great but it was a little slow. The food was excellent, I had the large vegan breakfast and a coffee. Very good indeed. Certainly be going back.
Lovely little quiet seating spot to the left as you go in with toys. We had an autistic child with us and the staff couldn't have been more helpful! They turned the music down and even asked if it was ok to sit a person who was by themselves in that area. The food was amazing too!

Went here for hangover food. We just had scrambled eggs on toast which you cant really go wrong and cheese and beans baked potato and 2 pots of tea. It was nice and busy however I feel the doorway needs cleaning up a bit for first impressions. It was just what we needed though and convenient location with parking on the road nearby
