Nook has to be my most favourite coffee shop on the Moor. Yesterday I visited for lunch with my toddler and hubby and the staff were great- I asked for a small bowl of tomatoes for my son (who is tomato obsessed at the moment) and within a minute they brought him a big bowl and then wouldn't let us pay for them! I went again today with some friends and my dog and a member of staff came out with dog biscuits for him which was so sweet. However, the best part of it all was that I had the choice of three vegan cakes- three!! I have never had that much choice before. I got a chocolate and peanut butter brownie and it was like eating a snickers bar, it was amazing! They are the only place that sell vegan cake so I will be returning at least once a week for my chocolate fix. Such a cute, accommodating cafe. Love it.

Really nice atmosphere with great selection of drinks with alternative milk options. Friendly staff and dog friendly! 👍 Food was great but needs some vegan options. Couldn’t find a menu online anywhere so I’ve posted it here. :)

Very friendly staff. Nice place to sit and be in. Good internet. Food really tasty, a bit spenny at £8 for a toastie though

I'm loathe to leave a review for Nook as it might make it even more difficult to get a seat in there. It's a great place and has got a great easy going atmosphere. Either for an afternoon coffee or an evening drink it's probably the best spot in Heaton Moor. Good coffee, great wine, great beer. It's the first place we look at. If we cannot get in there, then we'll consider elsewhere. If I'm going to be picky then the cakes could be better. But that is being picky 😊

Loved this place and decor. First time going yesterday. Licenced cafe bar. Selling good coffee. Great service, tasty homemade food. Including a selection of homemade cakes.

Amazing staff, great coffee and the recent addition of new menus with a wide variety of hot & cold dishes. Always a good selection of cakes etc.. dog friendly.

Lovely little bar in the middle of Heaton Moor. Whether it's a coffee or a beer this is the place to go. It's only small but super cosy. Dog friendly too. Staff are super helpful and friendly.

Great place to visit if your in the area we when in the afternoon for drinks the bar has a good selection of beers with at least two good lagers on draft and several beers at anytime the staff made us feel very welcome we will be visiting again soon 🙂🍻

Nice decor, popped in with the wife on Sunday for a brew. Nice Coffee and hot chocolate. Staff were friendly and made you feel welcome. Will definitely go back.
