Always stop here on our walks. Just the most excellent scones, lovely cakes and coffee, very reasonablypriced. Lots of other narrow boat supplies also. We'll worth a stop.

The seating area is outside offering a great view of the canal, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a cuppa and some cake.

We love having a walk along the canal and stopping for a cuppa at the Trading Post. Nice little well stocked place, reasonably priced drinks and cakes and ice creams. Outdoor seating only. Also a well stocked shop for boating supplies.

We had the most wonderful day aboard Comet the day boat
It started with excellent tuition from Andy, so much so that we felt comfortable with anything that may come our way.
The boat has everything you'll need in terms of toilet, gas hob, and provided beverage supplies, along with bottled water. Would we go aga9n? Yes, without doubt, its great and can't recommend Baileys trading post enough.

A very convenient canal side Cafe supplying the local Marina and Walkers - literally a multi product Trading Post including Fuel and all things Bargey! Lovely setting. Excellent choice of hot and cold drinks and snacks with very friendly service.

Come rain ,come shine a cup of tea at Bailey's Trading Post always brightens up your walk,sells coffee,hot chocolate, etc.Lots of lovely treats,piece of cake,lots of yummy biscuits.Quick chat with Andy &co and your day is complete.
If you own a barge ,has gasoline,coal ,lots of provisions,best of all are the free range eggs,often double yoke.
Pay him a visit,you can feed the ducks while your there.

We had a brilliant day on the boat yesterday, not laughed so much for ages! Andy was very patient with us while giving us all the instructions needed, the boat was well stocked with water, tea & coffee, & very clean. We got stuck in the silt a few times but team work got us out! I highly recommend using Baileys Trading Post if you fancy doing something a bit different, and great fun : )
