A quiet afternoon lunch but we were given full attention by the staff.
Delicious food, expertly presented and packing full flavour.
Definitely a place to revisit.
Eaten here twice so far - once for dinner once for brunch. The food is great, really well thought out menu, quality ingredients cooked well. Can't fault it. 3 courses for £33 is good value as well for the quality and type of restaurant it is.

Amazing lunch from start to finish. Nothing to fault and will be going again soon. The lunch menu is amazing value for the quality of food you get.
A true hidden gem!
We went for the three courses and although we had heard great things (Write up in Eat Manchester) we were so impressed. The staff are so lovely and chilled. The environment is casual and they let the food speak for itself.
I would compare the standard of food to Hispi or Erst.

What a wonderful meal. The shared rib of beef is a triumph. Perfectly cooked and terrifically tasty. The famous confit chips are indeed the best I've tasted, and the bone marrow gravy was stunning. Plus the staff are lovely. We are so lucky to have such a superb restaurant near us.

Perfect portion sizes so you can have 3 courses and not feel overwhelmed.
The flavours of all 3 of my dishes were perfectly balanced.
The restaurant is really nice inside without trying too hard to be unnecessarily posh, and the gentleman who served us was great.

I visited The Moor last week with my friend and it was all absolutely faultless. The food was delicious, the wine was perfect and the atmosphere was really nice. Can't wait to come back and will be recommending. It's a pleasure to have such a fantastic restaurant on our doorstep, thank you!
Top class. Standard of the cooking seems consistently high and every course was excellent for every member of our group of 4. This place is such a welcome addition to the heatons which has been missing a fine dining experience since Damson closed.
Had a cook at home meal from The Moor for my girlfriend’s birthday. The food was incredible, and really easy to prepare at home, the rib of beef especially was some of the nicest I’ve had and the obvious care and attention to detail with everything was fantastic. Worth every penny!
