Last minute stop for something to eat with my 2yr old. Have a great children's menu and plenty of high chairs. Food was good pub grub, nothing to complain about. Staff were really friendly and were quick being served on a Thursday evening. Would go again 👍
A good first impression, since the new management took over. Fairly standard pub food on the menu, but it's very reasonably priced, and came out quickly. The lasagne was ok (could be improved a bit) but the fish and chips was fantastic - about as good as it gets. The fish was perfectly cooked. I'd give an overall score of 4.5 if I could - but 4 would be unfair. Decent value. Should be nice outside when (if) the sun shines.
This was a random stop for us popped in for some lunch, I say this because I think there is a staffing shortage everywhere it did take 45min for our order but we didn't mind as this to be the norm everywhere. When food did come.it was hot 🔥 and fresh ( didn't taste like frozen food reheated) and full of flavour. I will definitely be back nice staff and value for your money 💰.
