Moor Tea

Gorgeous place, small and intimate. The food was brilliant, veg option for afternoon tea can be hit and miss but we loved the coronation chickpea sandwich. Large selection of interesting teas as well. Service was also excellent, Christopher was very attentive. Will definitely add this place as a favourite for future visits!

We held a baby shower here this weekend and had the most excellent time. Chris and his team had kept in contact from the initial booking until the event. kitchen was confident that they could meet any dietry needs which was good. we booked for 15 and we had the venu to ourselves. the inside was beautifully presented with one nice long table down the middle, a table for gifts and another day which we sorted games and bits from. the service was excellent and extremely attentive. choice of teas was lovely, the cherry Bakewell really is a must try! the cakes were beautiful, very delicate and beautiful flavours, scones beautiful and very obviously fresh. we had two small scones each, a passion fruit and mango layered cake, a blue berry and almomd bakewell cake a berry moose style cake and a chocolate choux popnstick cake. the sandwiches were beautifully presented, but in my.view, would have benefited from being more simple and of greater quantity - the end result felt far more about the cakes and.could have been better balanced. overall, the overall experience was wonderful and i would definitely recommend

We recently held our daughters baptism party at Moor Tea and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host a small gathering. Chris was great to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. From the first contact and initial planning to the finishing touches on the day and discussing dietary requirements, Chris and the team were really accommodating and made sure we all felt well looked after on the day. The afternoon tea was delicious and everyone commented on how lovely all the handmade sandwiches and cakes were including the children in our party. We are very lucky to have this little gem of a place in Heaton Moor and we will certainly be back to sample more fabulous treats and teas. Thank you so much for making it such a special afternoon!

Came here for an afternoon tea with my friend and it was amazing. I liked that the scones were smaller as they can be very filling. The cakes were so nice too! The man who owns the cafe was so personable and friendly. He brought me a mystery tea to try (cherry Bakewell) which was like heaven in a cup. Would definitely recommend coming here and will definitely be returning.

Relaxed atmosphere and tasteful decor. The food was delicious- I had the tuna and parmesan sandwich. Bread was very fresh and tasty. The cakes looked delicious - I was too full to sample. But will definitely be back. Great staff and service. We were there for over two hours and didn't feel rushed. Very enjoyable experience.

Perfect venue for a recent baby shower. Absolutely lovely team who were excellent with our booking and service on the day was faultless. Delicious selection of cakes, scones and sandwiches and superb vegan and vegetarian alternatives. One of the best afternoon teas around! Will definitely be going back. Simply perfect. From the moment we called and spoke to Chris to book a table for high tea, we knew we were in for an exceptional experience. Chris was attentive and focused on understanding the occasion, dietary requirements, seating location and preferences for tea. Upon arriving we were warmly welcomed and seated. The high tea was chosen the day before and all prepared before arriving. I won't go into too much detail about the selections of sandwiches, scones and sweet treats. All were delightful and full of flavour and accompanied by the best tea I have had. The Moor tea room is beautifully decorated and perfect for an intimate setting, whether you are with your partner, friends or family. The menu offers a thoughtful option for children, also! With over 23 teas to select from, all perfectly presented in individual teapots with timers for perfect brewing time! Moor Tea is a most and a refreshing break from the hundreds of coffee shops in Manchester. A huge thank you to Chris and team for making this an indelible and delightful experience

Lovely decor, great tea and a delicious cinnamon swirl. Staff are very friendly. I thought the tea sand timer was a cute little touch. Marked down one star as I wasn't offered sugar or milk with my tea and had to ask for it, however I will definitely return to this lovely new cafe on in the Heatons. Amended review to 5⭐️ as went back to moor tea this weekend. The owner remembered me which is such a lovely touch and we had a little chat. Such a personable place to visit.
