The restaurant is absolutely unique and has won many awards. It is surprisingly a vegetarian restaurant, serving cuisine, which I believe bears impressions from many dishes across the world. It is difficult to attach a name to the type of food they serve, but delicious and endearing are the words that come to me. They claim to create unique recipes and believe in slow cooking of organic food.
It is on the expensive side but the food is worth the price. They use rich ingredients like loads of nuts and cheese, and hence nutrition value is high. However the portions are large, and hence you should be careful while ordering, if you do not wish to waste.
I enjoyed the friendly ambience and the distinct flavours of the food have stayed with it. I recommend the restaurant to all food lovers, who enjoy experimenting with taste and is open to accept uniqueness.
Went to one of their regular Sunday evening music nights. Enjoyed a delicious korma nut kofta with jalfrezi sauce. Great food, good service and a lovely friendly vibe. Couldn't fault it.
Excellent Menu. These guys have a seasonally changing menu, using fresh (and seasonal) ingredients. Their dishes are all vegetarian and are excellent so that a meat lover like myself will also really enjoy their meals.
Visited the waiting room twice in the last month and it never disappoints! Great vegetarian food and they change the menu often. Delicious wine and friendly service. Can be a little cold inside especially if you’re seated in the room at the back so just bring a jumper. Would definitely recommend a visit!!

Amazing food. We both had their curry, think it's mushroom and feta, which I've had before and it's so good. Dessert was chocolate roulade... OMG ... staff are lovely, service was good, had a really nice night.
Amazing, they really now how to do a vegetarian meal. Just plain good atmosphere is great too!
Love this place. I haven't been since before Covid, pleased to see it remains as great as ever. The food and the staff are lovely.

Our second visit even though we're not actually vegetarian but food service and attention were sublime just wish their lasagne had been on the menu but otherwise perfect
We have been going to the Waiting Room for a long time (20 years??). It has changed and evolved but still great and the food is really delicious. The best vegetarian food definitely. It's better to have a table in the front part of the restaurant rather than the back.
A warm and friendly greeting awaits you as you enter this homely restaurant. Staff, that feel more like old friends, serve a sumptuous menu of vegetarian delights. Highly recommended!
It's just straight up tasty! As a big fan of the meat I'm always blown away by how tasty they can make a meat free dish. Portions are huge, and leave you feeling very full (But you can always get a doggy bag). Decor is simple yet funky.
