First time visiting, Wednesday 1st Nov 2023. I was told the mini parmo platters were small so we had starters. Crispy Sesame Chicken and King Prawns .. wow prawns sensational. Mini parmo were huge , def to share.. Lovely atmosphere , lovely staff will be back, thank you 😊

They had a few vegetarian options although I needed to ask for a separate menu to see them. I ordered a sweet potato tart with chips which were lovely and perfect size. My partner got the made in china parmo who said that was also nice, service staff were all friendly and the front area allowed dogs.

Arrived 15 minutes early, no problem being seated. It was quite when we arrived at 13:15, but picked up throughout the afternoon. Bathrooms were nicely decorated, but the hand dryer was not working and nothing to dry your hands on. The waitress was friendly. The Garlic mushrooms starter was beautiful, the prawn cocktail, although nice did not have enough of the sauce. The children's sausage and chips was plentiful and delicious. The sunday lunch was spectacular, we could not clear our plates however as they were big portions, needed to leave room for dessert. Ordered a cheescake, kids ice cream and rainbow cake and custard. The cheesecake was nice and smooth, the ice cream nice but I was disappointed with the rainbow cake, it was servered warm and was nice but they had no custard and served it with ice cream. We will be returning to try their famous parmo menu.

After visiting the North East for the weekend, we asked our Air BnB host for a recommendation and she advised to try 'The Ship' and their famous Parmos. She was right! We had such a lovely afternoon, the food was absolutely delicious (there was so much we took home the leftovers). We even had dessert which was to die for. Lindsey looked after us so well and she was a delight and so knowledgeable with the menu. My friend and I are already planning our next trip back - a 3hr round trip is absolutely worth it 😊

Great choice of Parmos with lots of different toppings menu is a map of the world ...Good size portions... I had a small Tropicano with bacon and pineapple on it...really delicious and tasty and was plenty big enough...this place is a must visit for any 'Parmo' fan...5star!

Wow, what a huge selection of parmos. I couldn't decide so I went for the 'inferno platter', a selection of 5 spicy parmos. My wife had the 'stinky pete', which had slices of steak and blue cheese dressing. I can't wait to visit again and try more of the delicious parmos. If you like parmos, you won't he disappointed!

Finally a place that does great vegetarian options without judgment from the staff. Loved the quorn salt and pepper strips and katsu chips. Entered as a princess left like a whale🙈 a happy one!

A food pub which was busy and fairly prompt service. The food arrived within about 25 minutes of us ordering. Our food tasted good but mine was not piping hot when it arrived. Service was fine and responded to our requests quickly. One of the better local pubs for food based on food and price.

Went here ( with our dog, as it is very dog friendly) for the first time in many years, read various good and bad reviews about it, but heard good things about the parmos so thought why not try it. So glad we did, food was lovely, although to be a honest a little over priced, but i suppose that is to be expected in our current climate. We sat in the beer garden as it was a gorgeous bank holiday Monday, but inside looked lovely and was nice to see it busy and gave a very pleasent atmoshere , dogs inside are very welcome also. Great pub and will certainly be going back, highly recommend it.
