We stayed at Leonard's cove last week for our holiday and how lovely to have this fantastic restaurant on our door step, the decor and atmosphere was great. We celebrated my partners 30th birthday here with other family members (17 of us in total) and every single person said how delicious and fresh the food was, best meal we have had in a long time. All our food was brought out together even though we was a big party and the service was brilliant. Cocktails were lovely too.
Myself, partner and our 2 daughters also had breakfast here which again was really fresh and tasty, nothing to fault!
Chris the manager was very friendly, would definitely recommend eating here!
Have had takeaways twice already with my little beach bums, really good quality and value! Fast service and friendly staff! The restaurant food looks to die for so will be trying that next, would recommend xx

You can tell when food has been cooked with love and care. Whoever made our food tonight, that really shone through to us! The flavours, quality and quantity 🌞🤌 The Knickerbocker Glory didn’t stand a chance.

Wasn't sure what to expect because it's fairly out of the way! Staff were incredibly friendly + welcoming. Well labelled vegan options on the main menu were very helpful. Nice sea view if you get the right seat!

Local Gem! Lush barn with rustic tables, heritage walls and hanging lamps - everything is made to emphasise the beauty of a typical Devon cob building.
Thoughtful menu to indulge omnivores and vegetarians alike. I had some of the most indulgent vegetarian main in my life - celeriac stake. Fish options were top notch as well. Desserts didn’t disappoint as well.
Do pay a visit - very much worth it.
Wonderful little restaurant in a gorgeous little village. The food was amazing and a good selection. I just had the fish and chips and the wife the halloumi burger. Good selection for the kids who enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere is really nice with good music and then the bathroom was a big plus for my 4 year old who loves Batman.
The best meal we had throughout our Devon stay! Wish we’d booked it for everyday! Fresh ingredients, knowledgeable staff who knew what they were serving. Definitely recommend when in the area.

First time in the area and as we were literally across the road seemed a shame not to try it. Not disappointed. Nice welcome. Small but perfectly formed menu. Often argued , but I'm a big fan of keep it small and doo it well when it comes to menus. nachos to start, nice portion size , three of us dipping in. Enough to get the taste buds going. Beef pie excellent, fish pie excellent, BBQ ribs looked really good and as our resident 12 yr old did a good impression of a hoover I'm guessing they tasted good too. Would definitely recommend. Book ahead if your more organized than us. Hate for you to miss out
Lovely restaurant. Great wine list and selection of beer. Menu is perfect for families, good selection of burgers and pizzas. Staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
Absolutely incredible food, service was brilliant and so was the atmosphere - we were able take our dog and eat in the bar. Highly recommend.

Booked here for Sunday lunch on way back to London. What a great decision that was. Hands down one of the best roasts I've had and I've had a lot over the past 40 years. Had ham hock scotch egg for starter which was incredible. Local pale ale was also a winner. Lady who served us was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. Look forward to returning there some day.
