Always a great atmosphere. Lovely weather yesterday and although we weren’t there for long, one pint, we sat out in the garden in the fab sunshine. First pint of “Big Ears” and very nice too. Wifey had the usual Thatchers Gold. You should get the Orchard Cider in though, which you do at Church E
What a wonderful, traditional pub. Lovely atmosphere, wood burning stove and friendly staff. So pleased to see that their lunch menu included sandwiches and a ploughmans, as well as some tasty hot dishes. Would definitely return if in the area.

Lovely little country pub. Food served midweek only between 12 and probably 2:30, as it closes around 3pm for the afternoon. Food is very nice and locally sourced, nice small simple menu and everything seems fresh. Good beer too!

Brilliant proper pub serving outstanding beer.
One of the best pubs in my local area. A stop off point for a catch up after a ride out on our motorcycles. Safely park the bikes then enjoy a drink in the beer garden. Always a great choice in local ales with friendly staff serving behind the bar. Nice one
