Brilliant local pub, excellent food (steak nights are our favourite!) great choice of lots of different gins and locally brewed beer. Staff are lovely and always welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Superb friendly independently owned village pub offering a great selection of beers from their award winning microbrewery. Dog friendly throughout we enjoy taking our dog there for a relaxing beer in the well kept garden or inside during the winter by the log burners.

Always a great atmosphere. Lovely weather yesterday and although we weren’t there for long, one pint, we sat out in the garden in the fab sunshine. First pint of “Big Ears” and very nice too. Wifey had the usual Thatchers Gold. You should get the Orchard Cider in though, which you do at Church End. 🍺🍺

What a wonderful, traditional pub. Lovely atmosphere, wood burning stove and friendly staff. So pleased to see that their lunch menu included sandwiches and a ploughmans, as well as some tasty hot dishes. Would definitely return if in the area.

Fabulous lunch here today. We visit quite regularly, alongside Church End Brewery nearer to our home. Lunch today was fantastic on all counts. My wife, daughter and son absolutely loved what they had. Service by the Ladies was so friendly and courteous as always - well done. We sat in the sun in the garden off the car park and you couldn’t have wished for more!! Perfect. Thank you all.

Lovely little country pub. Food served midweek only between 12 and probably 2:30, as it closes around 3pm for the afternoon. Food is very nice and locally sourced, nice small simple menu and everything seems fresh. Good beer too!

Cozy pub with plenty of real ales and ciders on tap, great warming food and always a cozy atmosphere with a real fire burning

Great traditional pub. An outlet for Church End Breweries, with a good selection of locally brewed beer. Dog friendly and just a general all good atmosphere. Been coming here for years.
