First visit today with my toddler grandson. Trip taking 2 buses. A little tricky working out where to get off the bus. £6 adult admission is good value for money. £1 for the goat food. My grandson loved feeding the goats. Nice clean play area too with sandpit, ride on toys. Plenty of places to sit. Nice cafe. Bit tricky getting a pram in and out of the toilets to do nappy changing.

We've made three trips to the Goat Centre over the summer holidays. It's very reasonably priced and my son loves feeding the chickens, ducks, pigs and goats. It's not a big place so ideal for younger children.

Great for goats, but the Alpaca was awesome! Reasonable fee for what it is...

A very nice place to take the children during the school holidays. A very reasonable entrance charge of £6.50. There is a cafe selling a wide range of food and drinks at a reasonable price. Our order of 3 baguettes and drinks took a very long time to be delivered, when we enquired why, we were told that the order had been lost. It did eventually arrive after 45 minutes, with no apology. There is a good selection of animals to see, including sheep, pigs, chickens, alpacas, rabbits, and, of course, some goats. They also have a playground for the kiddies. There is a good sized car park which is free, clean toilets and plenty of hand washing stations to use after feeding the animals. A very good afternoon, entertaining the grandson.

Such a lovely outing! If you love animals, do it. The animals have loads of space, they love the visitors because we have the treats, and they are not under any pressure to socialise with the visitors. Lovely friendly staff, and it's part of a wider complex offering arty/crafty shops.

We loved seeing all the goats and alpacas/llamas. They were so cute and feeding them was such a wholesome activity! My friend and I were so sad that Barnaby had passed not too long before our visit :/ we had also missed a chicken (named Nugget) that had also passed away, shame.

Excellent day out here with my 2 year old son. Lots of animals out in the fields and inside large barn. Tasty food in the cafe (beans on toast for him, salmon and scrambled eggs for me) which was more than decent. Added bonus of a play area outside with sandpit, slide and small ride ons. Overall an excellent option, especially when other farms are closed for winter. I expect we'll be back! 🐐🐏🐖❤

A nice little day out, it's very well kept. The animals look very well kept, their enclosures are very nice. Only thing I would say is it's better for younger kids.

Went to Obsidian Art which is also at Layby Farm where the Goat Centre is based. Excellent service and selection. The animals I saw (some are visible from the car park) looked, and sounded happy and healthy.

Lovely little farm with a great variety in goats, along with sheep, alpacas, ducks, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and a very lovely fox called Barnaby! Most of the farm was wheelchair accessible, although some users with less sturdy wheels might struggle on particularly muddy patches! Staff were friendly and helpful, the gift shop had a great range and the cookies in the cafe were divine!
