We stopped here for dinner and had Sunday roast. We had to add an extra person at the last minute which was no problem, even on a busy Sunday afternoon. Lovely food and great staff, special thanks to Martyn who looked after us. Thanks again.
Lovely gastric pub, nicely decorated. Outdoor seating at the front and back. Lots of seats in the bar area, and also a smart-looking restaurant area. Food was also very good. They ran out of a couple of things, but I like that because you know it’s fresh!
Quite an upmarket establishment, you would feel underdressed in jeans and they have a sign out front asking you not to wear sportswear, vests and workwear. The kind of place you'd take your grandparents or parents out for their anniversary. The prices match the atmosphere, and while the food is ple
A couple of dishes were sold out, but a fantastic restaurant to spend my 44th birthday at
We love the woolpack. Our local pub, a great little stop off or a night out all year round! The staff are really friendly and food always delicious. Today we stopped in for a cheeky dinner, Martyn was a fabulous waiter and was very attentive. The food prepared and cooked for by Mo & Thomas was fault
This British gastro pub was a good choice for dinner. They have a variety of items on the menu. I had the pork belly and scallops which was a tasty meal. We ordered wine from a reasonably priced wine menu. The decor was pleasing and the service was okay. The fish and chips were quite good. Fish w
Everything was perfect. I can't fault it in any way. The staff are friendly, professional and welcoming, the premises immaculately clean, and the food as good as anything in the West End, a huge step above the usual "pub grub, all superbly cooked and presented. We enjoyed one of the wines from your
Really nice looking pub. Recently renovated so really looks the part. Great selection of drinks and food. Sadly priced a little too high based on the food quality (and quite pricey for drinks too), but a good place for an occasion.
The meals were very nice and enjoyed by the three of us. It was quiet but then you don't expect anywhere to be packed out on a Monday afternoon these days. Staff were friendly and supportive and made the afternoon enjoyable.
What a beautiful experience. It was my first time dining at The Woolpack. The pub has recently gone through a refurbishment. And what a beautiful but homely feel to it. It's a lot spacious than I had imagined. The decor is amazing. The fireplace at the front and middle is spectacular. A great f
The staff were very friendly and efficient and food delicious. I was especially happy that my mother and I were not at any time addressed as ‘you guys’ but correctly addressed to as ladies by your staff. Well done!!!
The attention as we arrived was perfect. Ordering drinks and our food was perfect. The delivery of our meals was perfect. The time between our main meal and dessert was too long so we declined any pudding.
Booked for Sunday lunch, met by friendly staff and seated quickly. The roast was lovely! We ordered sirloin of beef and a trio of meats, both meals were delicious. Attentive staff and nice relaxed atmosphere.
Served by a really friendly, helpful guy called Martyn. Couldn’t do enough for us and had great banter. Food & atmosphere excellent but rather expensive wines. Amanda
We visited the Woolpack on Sunday (3 days ago). We've had Sunday lunch a couple of times before, at this pub/ restaurant. It's clean and smart and usually busy. It's very nice for children as well as adults, as it's spacious. There's a restaurant area, as well of an informal pub-like seating area. N
