Me and my fiancé had a really lovely meal here last night. We couldn't fault the food or the service, it was so nice to go somewhere and have an amazing meal! Would definitely recommend the melting chocolate orange bomb, it was divine.

We had a fantastic celebration meal there last night. With 2 out of our party of 6 with specific dietary needs, the staff were fantastic in accommodating that and providing excellent information of the contents of the whole menu. Our waitress was brilliant, attentive without being over the top and the pace between courses was relaxed without feeling slow. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely recommend

We stopped here for dinner and had Sunday roast. We had to add an extra person at the last minute which was no problem, even on a busy Sunday afternoon. Lovely food and great staff, special thanks to Martyn who looked after us. Thanks again.

Lovely gastric pub, nicely decorated. Outdoor seating at the front and back. Lots of seats in the bar area, and also a smart-looking restaurant area. Food was also very good. They ran out of a couple of things, but I like that because you know it’s fresh!

Quite an upmarket establishment, you would feel underdressed in jeans and they have a sign out front asking you not to wear sportswear, vests and workwear. The kind of place you'd take your grandparents or parents out for their anniversary. The prices match the atmosphere, and while the food is pleasant they were out of the pork main so we had a couple starters instead, but I was not bowled over. The main that did arrive, fishcakes, was lovely but would not have been sufficient without a starter also. It is dog friendly from what I saw, although I would keep them outside and only if they were very well behaved. Staff are great and food arrived promptly, we went for an early lunch, 12:30, and were the first people in although several more groups arrived as we were eating, it clearly is quite popular even on a weekday. This building is partly wheelchair accessible, the bar area is quite crowded with different floor levels and little manoeuvrability as old buildings are, but the main dining area had enough space.

We love the woolpack. Our local pub, a great little stop off or a night out all year round! The staff are really friendly and food always delicious. Today we stopped in for a cheeky dinner, Martyn was a fabulous waiter and was very attentive. The food prepared and cooked for by Mo & Thomas was faultless. So tasty and fresh. Thank you all x

This British gastro pub was a good choice for dinner. They have a variety of items on the menu. I had the pork belly and scallops which was a tasty meal. We ordered wine from a reasonably priced wine menu. The decor was pleasing and the service was okay. The fish and chips were quite good. Fish was crispy. The fried cheese appetizer was very good.

Everything was perfect. I can't fault it in any way. The staff are friendly, professional and welcoming, the premises immaculately clean, and the food as good as anything in the West End, a huge step above the usual "pub grub, all superbly cooked and presented. We enjoyed one of the wines from your list, the Australian Barossa Shiraz. For the food, service and ambiance offered, prices are not excessive. We look forward to returning.

Really nice looking pub. Recently renovated so really looks the part. Great selection of drinks and food. Sadly priced a little too high based on the food quality (and quite pricey for drinks too), but a good place for an occasion.

The meals were very nice and enjoyed by the three of us. It was quiet but then you don't expect anywhere to be packed out on a Monday afternoon these days. Staff were friendly and supportive and made the afternoon enjoyable.

What a beautiful experience. It was my first time dining at The Woolpack. The pub has recently gone through a refurbishment. And what a beautiful but homely feel to it. It's a lot spacious than I had imagined. The decor is amazing. The fireplace at the front and middle is spectacular. A great focal point for diners. The waiting staff friendly and professional. The service was a little slow but my food came out in good time (that is the main thing as I was hungry). Dessert was the highlight. Apple and blackberry crumble with vegan custard and ice cream. As well as a Salted Caramel Billionaire shortcake with vegan ice cream. The portion size was manageable. I left feeling completely satisfied. The only grumble I would make and this is a personal preference, the heating wasn't on. I like feeling warm. To all my VEGANS, don't forget to ask for the vegan menu. They won't give you one unless you request it. Their menu has some tasty dishes. The Coconut Curry 😋. If you are looking for that country pub feel with good food, The Woolpack is your spot. As a historical building, there is so much to know about it. The waiter told me, the building is older than USA, amazing. Overall, good value, good food, exceptional customer service and good atmosphere. I highly recommend it.
