Had a roast beef dinner, it was spot on , others with me had ham, egg chips or fish & chips, all plates were empty when we had finished and the sweets were nice.cant fault the food or the service.

Best Sunday lunch ever, mother and I had the lamb rump, the wife had roast beef, the veg was perfectly cooked, the mashed potato was smooth and buttery, the roast potatoes were amazing and the Yorkshire pudding and stuffing balls were delicious, couldn’t eat a dessert because we were stuffed.

Had a brilliant experience on the 8/8/23 for my sons 1st Birthday with family and friends service was brilliant staff were absolutely excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Can't remember if there was any music playing in the background if not it would be nice something to think about. Otherwise brilliant night Thank-you so much

I went for lunch. It wasn't crowded but obviously popular. I had the beef and ale pie which was obviously homemade with large cube of beef. The only comment I would make is that the gravy was very salty. My friend who had the roast beef said the same. The portions are extremely large a 'smaller appetite,' option would be good as the majority of our party were over 80. It was so good to be able to eat a meal with no background music
