Toby Carvery Festival Park

I have recently had a birthday party her in their private function room the whole evening was fantastic with pleasant staff an lovely food, I had people that didn't turn up and they allowed me to use the money I paid for the non arrivals to be used another time which I can't fault them for and was very impressed.

Can't really fault the place: heaps and heaps of good, honest food for under a tenner, no waiting. Staff are always lovely (particularly Emma, on this occasion), picturesque views of the narrow boats at mooring. Only one ale on, but the Doombar (although rather too cold) was nice. Great for a midweek treat if you're starving hungry.

The roasties are an obvious pull. But the restaurant sits on the edge of a lake and has a lovely view. The staff are friendly and usually, but not always, the portions are good. The range of veggies are also great along with the thick delicious gravy. Last but not least it’s affordable even without the discounts.

Had a lovely carvery, food delicious and hot, carver was very friendly, sorry missed his name Terri our waitress was helpful, informative explaining about the baby bowl portions we could order for just a pound (saved him eating off my plate and grabbing at my Yorkshire pud 🤣) she also informed us that if we went king-size we could take anything left over home which we weren't aware of! Pigs in blankets and a pudding added on that basis so had a lovely lunch and tea! Will be returning ASAP!

This is absolutely an amazing place where you can socialise and enjoy! The food is delicious and mouth watering. The staff where so friendly and considerate, as they asked whether you had any allergies/dietary requirements and had plenty of options for the food. The atmosphere was calming and allowed for done amazing conversations whilst overlooking the canal. Overall, I am extremely impressed with my visit and I highly recommend to come here!
