I love it here. Eat as little or as much as you like. Good food with reasonable prices.

Great to have a typical carvery after a long wet rainy and gloomy day in October. Place is clean and decorated in the spirit of Halloween. Waitress very polite and friendly. Makes you feel like you are "home".
This is absolutely an amazing place where you can socialise and enjoy! The food is delicious and mouth watering. The staff where so friendly and considerate, as they asked whether you had any allergies/dietary requirements and had plenty of options for the food. The atmosphere was calming and allowed for done amazing conversations whilst overlooking the canal. Overall, I am extremely impressed with my visit and I highly recommend to come here!
Great value for money. Had the Sunday carvery. The food was nice and hot, the meat selection very good and reasonable choice of vegetables.
Service was excellent, our server was Jess who was friendly and helpful, had a great smile too!
We're not ones for big chain pubs usually. However, this visit proved they do have good days 😊
The roasties are an obvious pull. But the restaurant sits on the edge of a lake and has a lovely view. The staff are friendly and usually, but not always, the portions are good. The range of veggies are also great along with the thick delicious gravy. Last but not least it’s affordable even without the discounts.
Food was amazing, our server Chelsea was 10/10 - Paul the carver was very friendly despite the rush they were clearly having.
Maybe having more staff on would have be better so the staff aren’t stretched so thin yet they all kept a smile on their faces
Can't really fault the place: heaps and heaps of good, honest food for under a tenner, no waiting. Staff are always lovely (particularly Emma, on this occasion), picturesque views of the narrow boats at mooring. Only one ale on, but the Doombar (although rather too cold) was nice. Great for a midweek treat if you're starving hungry.
Food was nice, service was as expected, atmosphere was reasonable.
I was served by Marie on the left hand side of the restaurant as you walk through the doors.
Couldn't of asked for or expected any better of a service. Lovely place for family's or if your just going alone to indulge in your own little world. I would recommend! 👌
The air con really kept the restaurant nice and cool as it was very hot outside.
The food was lovely with a great choice to include vegetarian and vegan options.
The service was great and the place looked very clean and tidy.

I have recently had a birthday party her in their private function room the whole evening was fantastic with pleasant staff an lovely food, I had people that didn't turn up and they allowed me to use the money I paid for the non arrivals to be used another time which I can't fault them for and was very impressed.

Plain, honest carvery. The quality was very good, front of house staff very polite and service amazingly quick.
Not that we could have eaten more, it would have been nice to know we could have gone back for more vegetables. I only found this out when I asked if I could have more horseradish sauce.
In my opinion, a little refresh of the décor wouldn't go amiss but this did not detract from our dining experience.
