Good guys. Hard working and long established. Always accommodating and never a bad meal or takeout after many years.
To survive where they are must surely tell you something...
And MrDT I'm sure you work for a competitor. An elderly couple being asked to take a taxi, in Blythe Bridge? How on earth did they get there in the first place?

We have been dining and recommending the "Chandni Cottage" since Yaqoub and his crew opened in 1998.....We went to the opening night and where immediately blown away with the place............
The food is of the most excellent quality you could find anywhere in the country...or the world!!!!!
We have dined in Indian restaurants all over the world and cannot fault the food ,the standards or the service at this establishment........
Whoever wrote the review on Feb 2nd COULD NOT have dined at the same place!!!!!!!!!!
I have NEVER had a bad meal and dine there 2-4 times per week..............I defy anyone to better that for quality and service??????????
The restaurant carries on to go from strength to strength year on year and I would have no hesitation to recommend the Chandni cottage to anyone wishing to dine on Quality Indian Cuisine

Mr matty. The only place for an indian. peshwari naan well that needs a table of its own its that big. And the chicken tikki masala with special rice. tasty tasty food. Great staff as well nice people.

Never had a bad meal from The Chandri both sat in or take-away,the garlic nans are like elephant ears and the staff really can't do enough for you.I find myself not wanting to say too much about this hidden jewel for fear of not getting a table,just go and try this place and I bet you will go again!

Do not be put off by the shabby exterier of this restarant the food is first class. Onion bajis are the best I've ever tasted. The lovely guys will cook anything you fancy! Yum yum yum. Would definatly recomend!!

Been here many times and it’s always excellent, we were very early and the only customers in though they were busy on the takeaway side, our meals were delivered swiftly and delicious as ever.

First time we've dined there. Would highly recommend. Food was all really nice and tasty and extremely good portion sizes. The naan breads are huge!!! And delicious. The chandni chips are to die for! Serious the best chips I've ever had. We will definitely be back! Service was good also. Very fairly priced!

Great place for takeaway or a sit in meal. I myself really enjoy their chicken tikka madras with plain rice and this is absolutely delicious! The Naan's are great and also huge! 1 could probably do for 4 people, but I always like to take some home with me, which they do allow! Very good food and good portion sizes. I highly recommend.

Arrived early doors. Very welcoming.. very clean and decorated great... Very attentive server. Great menu to choose from.. Amazing food, tasted fresh and lovely. Huge portion sizes.... Full if the meats of choice... far too much too eat...Great value for money. Will most definitely be back. Nice flat entrance and interior good for people hard of walking and disabled... Thanks for a great experience....

Best curry in the Blythe Bridge/Meir area. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Consistently good. I recommend highly.

I went there to pick up my car last week and I was horrified to find a chicken Bhuna and onion bargees all over the rear seat I only went in for new tyres! Although on a happier note the food was delicious, just a shame I got pulled over later on by the police because I hadn’t changed my tyres which ruined the rest of my evening

The best food ever. Lovely friendly staff, nothing to much trouble. Cleanliness is 5*. Good portions and the bigger Naans anywhere. Recommend if you want a nice meal out or take away.
