Hadn't used the Hungry Potter for over 7 years due to the horrendous owners, BUT... The Hungry Potter is again under new management since November 2020 and the shop is back to the way it used to be! Very friendly, professional staff, great food and great prices! I can't recommend them enough! A proper local oatcake shop!

My husband and myself are the proud owners of Hungry Potter and we have many happy customers who return on a regular basis. We feel strongly towards the negative reviews on Google as our staff work very hard to please everyone of our customers.
With the help of our fantastic staff, customers, local businesses and suppliers we have built the business to what it is today, a five star rating food and hygiene oat cake and sandwich shop.
It is unfortunate for some of our dog lover customers that we are unable, by law, to allow dogs into the shop. However we are more than willing to accept a telephone order or an order at the door and we will gladly pass it to you.
We are proud to be employers of multi cultural employees and have zero tolerance towards any racism.

Great place visit. A bacon sandwich only a £1. You cant go wrong. Clean inside great choice of food
Cheese and bacon oatcakes £1.80 each done on the griddle. Served quickly with a smile. What's not to like?
A decent breakfast option served by friendly staff. Prices are what they should be. Live locally and indulge occasionally, thought it time for a review.
