Nikki, Duane and the team are amazing. They do so much to help and support the people that live in Stoke-On-Trent. They don't discriminate against anyone and if They can help then they will or if they can't help personally, they will point you in the right direction to someone that can help. It's a safe space, where you can sit and have a bit of a chat over a light snack.
There's always a queue outside, so you'd do well to get there early, otherwise you might miss out on the goodies!

Amazing prices and free pastries. Wonderful if you're on a low food budget or just want a big haul of snacks. Staff are ridiculously nice.
Also offers cold drinks in a fridge, about 1£ for three.
Has a cafe I've honestly never seen open and a selection of cheap books.
Due to the nature of the store, they often sell very different things day to day: one day they're giving away free cake, one day they're having a sale on canned food.
Genuinely can't say a single bad thing about them.
Also for those that care, they sell a lot of things that were going to be thrown out elsewhere but are still fine, meaning they prevent food waste.
