Called in for a drink with my friend and got completely ignored by the person behind the bar who thought it was a good idea to serve friends/family or regulars 1st even though she had seen me waiting before them,even when finished serving was having a chat with them,so we decided to leave and go to another pub where the service and friendly atmosphere was 100 time better,avoid here if you're new to the pub.

Very good very impressed i had not been in there before tonight ( 19/8/23 ) for nicks first karaoke gig there. the place is very nicely decorated a warm atmosphere and nice staff and licensee. recently done up and renovated to a high standard. i didn.t know of any food on there as yet so i haven.t chosen a rating for it. will definately go there again asap. pity parking isn.t a bit better but thats councils for you always slapping yellow lines everywhere but having said that the side streets always seem to have spaces. 😉👍 / our 2nd visit to this pub 2nd 9th 23 for karaoke by nick. very good again lots of people singing this time and a really good warm friendly atmosphere. 👌👏🖐🫱🫲🤜🤛

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was fast, fresh, tasty and piping hot. Best of all the drinks don't cost an arm and a leg. We'll definitely be back.

Previously the Birches Head Hotel. Gem of a pub in Stoke on Trent. Newly refurbished. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Decent prices. Deserves to be a success. Well worth a visit.

Went the Birches head lastnight not been for a long time we had a meal which was very nice then stayed for the disco Ray was very welcoming keep up the hard work

I went to a "wake" earlier this week and have to say the food was excellent! Warm crispy, chunky chips, lovely beef and chicken baps, and a good selection of other foods. The pub was warm and staff were friendly.
