The Wayfarer

We arrived for a celebratory meal for our grandsons 21st birthday. The car park is well marked and positioned disabled parking. As I'm disabled this helps immeasurable and although I managed on sticks on this occasion, it looks easily accessible in a wheelchair. While I'm on the disabled subject they have possibly the nicest disabled toilets I've used, top marks. On entering we were guided very helpfully and in a really friendly manner by a young woman to the reserved table 401 for fourteen in a side dining area. Everything was beautifully laid out and from then on in the service was excellent. The young guy, who's name we didn't get unfortunately, who was in charge of the service was really most attentive and all the staff friendly and helpful. The roast turkey dinners and the Limoncello and sticky toffee puddings were perfect. No faults at all, a classy, very enjoyable atmosphere and great staff what's more to ask for. A very definite go to again venue.

I've recently given the same franchise (but in Nantwich) a 5 star rating... Here is so much better. Great place for adults and parents with kids as there's separate dining rooms. We were a large family group and they helped us settle in without any rush. Service and food was amazing and quick... We're definitely going back as soon as we can.

This was a true gem in a part of the world I don't visit regularly. I couldn't fault anything even the weather 😜. The food didn't take long. Arrived fresh and healthier than I thought. Staff were friendly but professional and took fantastic care of us. If I am in Stone, I would definitely visit again.

Wayfarer is a place for food enthusiasts who crave innovative flavours and a cozy atmosphere. They have a diverse menu, thoughtfully crafted dishes and attentive service. The vegan burger and fries was absolutely delicious and they cater to various dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan , gluten-free etc

A fantastic place to have a party. We were a large group of 40. We had chosen our meals in advance and they arrived with our names. Three waiters were assigned to our private room. There was a small bar in the centre . Circular tables were arranged with eight places set. There is a small dance floor so after our meal we could spend time dancing to music which we had provided . Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. A slight problem arose when there weren't enough raspberry frangipanes for 20 of us. Five ladies had to opt for a different dessert. I thought if you booked and paid for your meals in advance this couldn't happen ? A criticism of the sea bass meal was that the mound of crushed potatoes was quite lumpy and didn't taste very good. The sauce and fish were excellent.

Myself amd my husband have just visited here for the first time. Absolutely amazing food & the staff were so friendly. Our waiter Dave was absolutely fantastic and made us feel like we've visited there a million times before. Nothing was too much for him, he was like a breath of fresh air. We will be back to visit again in the future.

Lovely setting both inside and out. The staff were all very polite. Service was really slow (and the restaurant wasn't busy) which was an issue for us as we only had limited time, but if you're there for pleasure rather than a work meeting, this is less of an issue. The crispy beef salad was generous and delicious. Perfect for a hot sunny day on the deck area. Will definitely return.
