Absolutely lovely pub, great service very friendly & right on the canal by a lock. Very pretty and lovely to sit and watch barges go by.

Went visit this pub today on the off chance as a drive past. They were very welcoming and served food which is a win! As I was hungry. Situated in a very nice spot. Right next too the canal. Shane and sam were very pleasant and helpful with accommodating my requests parking my camper van for free on
Meal with family, the Food was served quickly, but no chips with the lasagna and it was a very strong cheese, so the kids didn't enjoy that, the ultimate burger was great and pie was OK, as was the gammon. Lovely spot and great staff.
Only one person serving so quite a queue, second was changing a barrel and third was not till trained. Beer OK though and food also OK but medium rare steak was brown not red. Location by the lock excellent.

I went with my family and thought the experience was absolutely amazing. The staff were very kind and catered to my families needs and the food was incredible. I couldn’t have asked for better food.
Had food in the past and always been good, the setting is great right to a canal and within walking distance of stone High Street.
If you're looking for mountain climbing this is not the right place however, if a pint by a canal and watch the world go by, its awesome.
The food was ok from there and the atmosphere in the pub was ok as well as we sat in the restaurant part of the pub which was very quiet.

Beautiful caravan park with all the facilities you need to enjoy your holiday. Not too large and Close enough to the beach to walk. Staff were very friendly,helpful and polite .definitely a place worthy of a visit
