This is such a great family friendly cafe. The staff always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the food is always amazing. They do a great baby chino. My toddler is obsessed. They’ve also got carrot cake I’ve ever eaten!
Since I first visited. I visit the happy cactus kitchen regularly now, I always know I’m going to be welcomed by their friendly and attentive staff. I also know I’m always going to have a wonderful breakfast, like I did today.
The staff were more than happy to accommodate to me wanting to change the fruit on my pancakes, and well just look at it. Mega

I work just across the road from HCK, it’s my favourite place to eat in Stone and never lets me down. The food is always amazing quality, cooked to perfection and good value for money, especially considering the increasing , (and quite frankly ridiculous) cost of living and running for small businesses. The atmosphere is beautiful; a cozy and comfortable cafe that often hosts families, well behaved pets and friendly regulars. I have never had any reason for complaint against the owner nor her business. She is extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The incredible cakes/brownies/cookies are essential to try if you have a sweet tooth!
We have been regulars for several months now and we absolutely love coming here. It's not just a great cafe but a business we really value as part of our community here in Stone. We always feel welcome and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. We've tried most things on the menu and everything we've had has been delicious and of great quality - coffee, cakes, full English, veggie breakfast, baps and more. It doesn't get better than that!
Popped in here on an off chance while walking past and have to say best brunch food I’ve had in a long while was worth the travel food portions are more than generous great value for money and very tasty food! Mum and daughter duo who run the place were lovely too!

The Happy Cactus has a friendly and welcoming staff who make you feel right at home. The Cactus breakfast is delicious and every dish we have had is always a generous portion. The cakes are out of this world and truly are a slice of heaven. I can’t recommend the Happy Cactus enough. It’s a family favourite and everything from the food to the staff is just outstanding. I would highly recommend a visit here!
A beautiful, beautiful breakfast in this lovely, friendly little café. Lovely space, chatty and kind staff. You'd have to work hard to be anything but delighted.
Lovely little family run cafe with good quality local produce. The star of the show for me is the carrot cake though - always ask any family members who are popping by to get me a slice and I am never disappointed. I say you get what you pay for - quality food and smiley service :)
I’ve been to The cactus numerous times with my mother and dog. I’ve always had a friendly welcome and excellent service with great home cooked food. The cakes and especially the huge cookies are amazing. Keep doing ‘you’ ladies and don’t worry about the odd person who you’ll never be able to please!
Really great experience, delicious carrot cake really friendly staff and great atmosphere to do some work. There was even a friendly doggo which made everything really nice. We love happy cactus kitchen! 🌵
