Lovely meal overlooking the harbour. My husband said the mussels were the best he'd ever tasted! I had the southern fried chicken, delicious. We even spotted a seal swimming in the harbour from the window. Nice music too and lovely place, friendly staff.
had the best meal I've had in ages tonight , ordered steak with prawns from specials menu , could not fault in any way , best prawns I've tasted from a local restaurant , great atmosphere !
Went to a celebratory concert by Calum Martin. Most of the spoken parts in between the music was in Gaelic, as was the songs and music, but this didn't diminish the enjoyment for a simple non-bilingual Englishman.
The venue is great, and allows the audience to be so close and nearly intimate with the stage performance. The seating was comfortable and afforded good leg room. The bar staff were incredibly efficient, polite and helpful. The ticket reception likewise suggested I may be eligible for a concession price (and I was!), so grateful for that. The inside theatre staff, and unseen crew made the whole experience great for me, as well as the performers did. Thoroughly recommend this venue.
I returned a few days later in the daytime as I found I had time for a coffee and cake in the cafe/bar. Again, the service was great. The view across the harbour towards the castle is wonderful.
Thanks An Lanntair, it made my visit to Lewis & Harris special and memorable.
Great place for a strupag and a bite to eat, giving exiles like myself that idea, I'm a cove in Stornoway.🚣. Very helpful staff, accessible cafe and beautiful views over the harbour and ferry terminal. Clip not from cafe window but gives you an idea of busy Stornoway Harbour and anchorage 😉
Very helpful girl at the desk who called me when there was a cancellation as the tickets for the movie were sold out. Friendly barman but pity the place closes down the minute the movie starts. It would have been nice to have a coffee or beer after the show.
Very nice, nice art, good Coffee and you can go to the movie!
Lovely visit, great spot for a coffee and rest stop. Gift shop well stocked and fairly priced. Café was very busy though and tables messy but believe this was a staffing issue. Staff still tried their best though - Callum was so polite.
Fabulous building with a lovely cafe where you can sit and watch the ferry arrive/depart while watching the world go past. Fabulous cakes and food available
Had such a great experience! Was a very nice place to sit down and relax after lots of travelling!! Special thanks to employee Charlotte, served me a great coffee!!
Went to see Blazin Fiddles, lovely intimate venue couldn't fault it. Would like to go back one day to try cafe in the day.
I have been to An Lanntair on many occasions.
There is not one evening I can ever say of, as being disappointing.
I have been to a New year Celebration Evening, Pantomime, Blue Grass and Folk music, and most recently a fantastic event of Dance called "6 feet,3 shoes". It was a wonderful display of Spanish Flamenco Dance Accompanied by a Gifted Classical Guitar Musician. The 3 ladies also performed Scottish Highland Ballet style to a very accomplished Fiddle player!
Not bad coffee. Can be a bit noisy in the cafe. Not sure about the dodgy pottery display in the gallery.
