The cafe is in a beautiful setting with ample seating both inside and outside.
The ladies were welcoming and friendly, with a good range of food and cakes available. There were also dairy free and gluten free options - not just one, but multiple options!
The coffee is served in a cafetiere and is delicious. I had the sausage and haggis roll which was fresh, warm, and very tasty.
A very delightful cafe, with great food and coffee. Highly recommend!
Fabulous food. Deliciously different salads. Quick, efficient service, lovely environment, dog friendly. Lots of information boards telling you the history of the place. Cakes looked good too
I followed a small cafe sign from the main road and discovered this gem of a cafe. The barn has been restored perfectly and the food tasted wonderful. I had a tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad from the specials board. With five different types/colours of tomato it was divide. Afterwards, and as the main was so good, we choose to get cake. Though Guinness cake was a first for me I can't recommend it enough, it soon became a talking point in the cafe between the other customers who also where trying it for the first time.
Considering the quality I thought the price is good. In short I can't recommend this cafe enough, a hidden gem.
Great friendly staff, cake to die for tea and coffee. And the church next door is absolutely beautiful.
It was lovely. I had 2 small scones with rubarb and ginger jam and double cream and a mug of tea. Fantastic! The jam was so tasty, I brought a jar to take home. The location is on a farm and there's the beautiful St. Mary's Church. The whole area is picturesque. It's a haven for walkers. There's a good range of food to suit everyone, I am a veggie so next time will try their veggie dishes. Will be going back soon weather permitting. They're open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I think they're open on bank holiday Monday too.
Lovely place to stop for coffee and lunch. We visit quite a lot as the food is excellent. We had the BALT last time and it was delicious. Fabulous range of smoothies too. Very highly recommended
Amazing place...tucked away in the country serving great food and drink and lovely activities to entertain children. Will be sure to visit again.
Superbly located for walkers, cyclists and runners. Lovely conversion.
Food excellent. Granola and honey top notch brekkie. Scones, cream and blackcurrant totally yummy.
Good service, helped by providing a rug for our Whippet to lie on.
Thoroughly recommended.
Destination eatery.
Do check the opening times before going as it's not open all the time. We planned a dog walk around the area on a day it was. Parking by the church is easy (but limited). Lovely area to walk in - we did a 1.5hr walk up Chantry Hill (steep but worth it for the views). Dogs welcome in the main large area of the cafe. Small menu and not cheap (some sandwiches were £7+) but the food we were given was homemade and very tasty, beautifully prepared side salad with the sausage roll (£3.70), tasty bacon bap and nice cake choice including some gluten free. Lovely restored barn with tasteful decor, we'll return.
Huge space in a barn well presented and clean. Fresh cooked food at normal prices for the area. Lovely views and walks all around. Outside seating nice could do with more and stronger types as it gets more popular.
