Went to the Stag for Sunday roast with family and friends. Food was lovely and not over priced. Staff were brilliant. Will definitely come again. Thank you ! 😊

Went with friends. It was at 5pm so a little early in the day to judge at atmosphere so reason for only 4*. Staff great. Food freshly booked, hot and plenty of it. Dogs allowed. Plus they sell dog treats. I thought it would be little bag of biscuits but it was a 50p bag of fresh meat trimmings in bite size pieces. My dog loved it. Would return and recommend

Great village pub in Stotfold off the beaten track not on a through route so it needs finding. We held our Monday Meet for Stevenage and District Motorcycle Club. The pub laid on a good buffet.

A small place with a large menu. Sunday lunch was a generous plate full of food, and all nicely home cooked. One of the group had a homemade steak and ale pie, with fries, which was lovely. They have some outside seating, and parking is on the road around the place, but a one way street so you may have to go round a couple of times to find a spot.

A great traditional pub. Didn't know where to go in Stotfold for a meal. This was recommended. We all had a different meal and everyone enjoyed what they had. Great value and no scrimping on the ingredients. Thank you to the staff.

Fantastic service. I went with a group, and although a few things on the menu were not available, the staff quickly and efficiently sorted alternatives. They also have a healthy eating section with many "slimming world" foods, which are also mainly suitable for a diabetic. The staff worked with me to cater to my various dietary requirements. The food was amazing. It is so nice to just order directly from the menu without having to change much. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Amazing service by both bar and kitchen staff. Reserved a table for 9, and all 9 enjoyed and ate all the food served. Prices also very good. Very nice atmosphere and will definitely be going back.
