Been going over 20 years, still the same amazing food. B is a great owner, always welcoming, staff is good. Miss Stan who B told us where he works now, so we gave him a visit.
Booked for early Sunday evening and the place was heaving. Took some time to get food ordered, the set menu seemed good value - the starters were really good but the mains were poor. Staff were friendly but so slow - we wanted knives and …
Food was very average. Sauces quite watery and beef chewy. Have dined in here and its great but have found takeaway can have long wait and quality drops
Shame because although the food was great, the service (or lack of) let everyone down! Clearly there were too many people in there & lead to us waiting 1.5 hours for our mains. Disgusting service - there’s no point having nice food if you never actually get it.

The owner and manager were very rude. I had came in with my autistic child and was told by the owner that I need to shut him up as he was making some noise. Overall very very rude, wouldn’t recommend!
