We had an excellent meal here, we came for dinner as we were visiting friends nearby - the food selection was great and lots of gluten free options, all of which are done properly and suitable for someone that has a wheat allergy. I had the Steak Bomb and it was possibly one of the best pies I’ve ever eaten. Service and atmosphere were both great. I will definitely be back

Excellent food. THE best food I've ever had. (Chicken ham hock & Lemon roulade). Staff were very good, made me feel very comfortable. Outside seating area was also lovely. Atmosphere was friendly, also it is very dog friendly too! 🐾

Fantastic Sunday roast and desserts. A little bit off the beaten track but worth the trip. Great food in a really nice building full of character. Service was good albeit the place was extremely busy when we went so a little slow but that's to be expected. Staff really nice and accomodating though. Top restaurant.

Popped in for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were really friendly.. I had home made veg lasagne and my partner had a Philly burger. Lovely. We also had puds. Also very nice. Lovely pub inside, really nice dinning room. We will be going back 👍🏻

me and my partner came here for a Roast yesterday at lunch time 5/02/23 and we just wanted to say how much we enjoyed it. It was honestly the best roast out in ages. We always say its hard to beat one that you cook yourself and we can honestly say it was as good if not better than we do. Everything was perfectly cooked and presented well. The deserts were a equally brilliant I had the roulade my partner had the cheesecake, the flavors were fantastic. We will be returning as this was our first visit. Thank you again for a lovely meal.

We were a party of 13 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Good size portions with most unable to finish the Sunday roast. The restaurant was akin to a medieval banqueting Hall and nicely laid out. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful and ensured we were well looked after. I would definitely recommend The Bull Inn and we will definitely be going back.

First time here and was a good experience. We shared a starter and the salt and pepper squid was excellent. For my main, I had the fish pie. It was good but too much potato for my liking, could do with more fish! My partner had the chicken and ham hock pie which was amazing. So much meat in it that she couldn't finish it! Nice wine too

We were staying nearby and wanted somewhere to eat with good food that didn't cost a fortune, The Bull Inn delivered on both counts. The dining room itself is just lovely with some very quirky lightshades. The food was terrific, I had some belly pork for a starter which was full of flavour and plentiful, for main I had the spicy beef burrito of the specials oh my it was huge and delicious. Staff were very friendly and efficient and a lovely atmosphere for a midweek evening. Excellent all round
