me and my partner came here for a Roast yesterday at lunch time 5/02/23 and we just wanted to say how much we enjoyed it. It was honestly the best roast out in ages. We always say its hard to beat one that you cook yourself and we can honestly say it was as good if not better than we do. Everything

Went for Sunday lunch and the food and service was good.
What wasn't good, was the amount of covers that they booked: far too many and one got the impression they couldn't cope. As a result we had a very long wait but in fairness, we were offered a free drink and the food was worth the wait.

Brilliant evening. We had food from the Christmas menu and it was amazing. Rory was very friendly, came and introduced himself and was very attentive. All the staff were very friendly, and couldn't do enough for us.

Recently held our wedding reception at the Bacton bull.
In the months leading up to our event we had regular contact with Rory and Duncan and could not fault them one bit. They asked questions and were able to answer all of our questions.

Fantastic Sunday roast and desserts. A little bit off the beaten track but worth the trip. Great food in a really nice building full of character. Service was good albeit the place was extremely busy when we went so a little slow but that's to be expected. Staff really nice and accomodating though.
One of the nicest meals we've had in a while. Lovely staff, interesting menu, lovely dining room. Reasonable prices. Good range of beverages.
