Excellent in all respects. What you'd expect from a real ale and Cam.RA recommended pub. They do not serve food(concentrating on fine ales)but every other Thursday they have a night off cooking and host a WagYu burger van, placed right outside. You can order you're choice of burger ,and any accompanying extras,at the van- they'll issue you a numbered ticket & bring it in to you in the pub.
Top quality meat. We both enjoyed immensely during our visit on Thursday1st of Feb.

Great atmosphere I love this place as there is no music and you have to talk to each other the beers are incredible and the ciders outstanding the owners are easy to get on with and will go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and welcome

Awesome pub. Friendly staff. Hands free ordering. Really embraced the new way of providing a pub experience. The Landlord is a music minded chap and gets local bands in on occasion and it really lifts the atmosphere.
The outside seating area is very comfy, and we sat out there for the majority of the evening until it started to cool down. Then into comfy seats in the bar.
11/10 or 6* out of 5 would be more appropriate.

A warm welcome on entering the pub. My friend had a small dog with her and was able to bring it in. A great beer list. So many that I felt spoiled for choice. I would definitely pay this pub another visit. My only disappointment was that there was no food available apart from snacks but then this is a traditional-style pub not a modern day pub/restaurant.

Excellent beer choices. Reasonably priced. Very quiet though, no radio or TV, just dead silence, felt slightly awkward (but this was 2pm on a Thursday). Need to go back on a Friday night and experience the real atmosphere.
