Custom House - Stranraer - Photo album

Popped in for a quick bit to eat, nice bar loads of TVs with sport on ! We both had the Balmoral Burger 🍔 😋 fantastic burger with Haggis in with pepper corn sauce. (See pics) The place does want it says on the tin..
I was here for the bank holiday weekend. There was only two young members of staff in the front of the pub which were doing all the food orders, the drinks, serving food and condiments and clearing tables. At times the queue for a drink was almost a 10 min wait but through no fault of the staff. The
There aren't too many places to eat in Stranraer in the evening but this place is just fine. We had low expectations when we got there it has the vibe of a flat roofed sports pub but the staff were really friendly and helpful. It has a vegan and gluten-free menu. My son had a vegan burger; we had
Great food, nice selection of ales and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived in Stranraer later than expected and the manager said we could still order food. What a life saver as we really didn't want takeaway food. We highly recommend this place. Well done, we will definitely
Love coming here to eat. Great menu for young and old alike. Fantastic Service, especially from Aaron Moore, who goes out of his way to make sure that you have everything that you need for an enjoyable time (and meal here).
Great little pub and food!! We had some wonderful service and food here!
We ate at the Custom house while staying in town for next day's ferry to Larne. Quite a few other establishments were closed, but the attractive menu would probably have drawn us in anyway. We were made very welcome, service was speedy, and staff were welcoming, competent and attentive. I chose an e
Great value and service and while it looked like it might be on the cheap and nasty food side, the food was outstanding. Lovely staff, clean, great selection of drinks. Really couldnt ask for more.
Restored our faith in Scottish food. Fast to come to the table. Friendly, welcoming staff. Food is outstanding and perfectly portioned. 100 per cent will return.
We dined here quite a few times during our holiday, the food was good. ( Especially Hggis Neeps and Tatties which were far better than another restaurant which was more upmarket. ) The bonus for us was that it was truly dog friendly, unlike other restaurants that state they are, if you want to dine
A greene king pub offering a good choice of food and drink at great prices, we went on a Tuesday lunch time and had the seniors special, 3 courses for £7.99 (2022) starter, main and pudding, slightly smaller portions but still plenty, we had a soft drink each and it still only came to just over £40
Excellent service. Arrived at the end of food serving on a Thursday evening. Ordered with no problem. Food arrived promptly and with good portion size. Fish and chips OK, pub standard really. All well priced and with great service.
Chosen mainly as they allow dogs and I get a blue card discount, we had an average Sunday roast here. Service was great though. Google (and website) said they open at 11am, but they opened at noon. Prices were higher than the online menu too.
Absolutely love the custom house the food is amazing
Excellent local bar. Friendly staff. The food smells and looks great but did not try as waiting for my train. Great pint of beer here. The Bellhaven best is an excellent pint, great flavour and a good price
