The pizza is actually pretty good but, like others, I am rating this one star for the appalling customer service and very long and inaccurate delivery time. We ordered at 6.45pm and were told our pizza would be on our doorstep at 7.15pm. Our order eventually arrived at 8.40pm, almost 2 hours later. They have an order status tracker, which was not updating, so I phoned at 7.30pm to enquire. I was told my order would be with me in 5 or 6 minutes, then waited (impatiently) for over an hour. During this time, I tried calling back several times but they either did not answer or hung up without speaking.
The automatically estimated delivery time was clearly wrong, and the lack of communication about this was terrible. We have a young family and 8.40pm is way too late for us to eat, if we’d known it would take so long we obviously wouldn’t have ordered it, or would have cancelled the order while we had the chance. We were so hungry we actually cooked something else so the pizza was not wanted by the time it finally arrived, hot but with a stale base. To really take the cake, we’d ordered a deal which included a tub of ice cream, but they replaced this with a 500ml bottle of diet coke without informing us. A really miserable takeaway experience!

Are you a lover of good pizza? Then East Village is not for you! Thanks to Deliveroo, the pizza arrived very cold and delivered in 48 minutes! Pizza bufalina, the pizza ordered. The name sounds good, the ingredients, the only one the buffalo mozzarella , was not present on the pizza, in its place an anonymous, poor, cheap, tasteless white thing lay on a completely rubbery pizza! How much did I pay to receive this excellent service? Pound 15.95. If you write buffalo mozzarella on the menu and I pay well for it, expecting a buffalo mozzarella on the pizza not a copy of a normal mozzarella . Bad service, bad pizza, bad copy of mozzarella . Absolutely disappointed !

I always order their pizza. I like it so much!!!! And the price is also very good. When I would like to order pizza, I always choose to order Firezza’s pizza!

Shocked to see only 3/5 stars for my favourite GF pizza place! Delivery is always fast for me - both from East Village location as well as Canary Wharf location. Pizza always arrives hot and delivery drivers always friendly. Prices can be a bit steep, imo, but there's always promotions.

We love Firezza, we’ve ordered from here 4 or 5 times now, every time it comes hot and fresh and in around 30 minutes which is impressive! We love that they have gluten free options too :) tasty food!

This is hands down the best pizza takeaway in London. Authentic pizza a la Napoli the way it was intended. Beautiful fresh ingredients and high quality dough that is fired fiercely in traditional ovens. They are always perfect.

The quality of the pizza is always outstanding and the speed and cost of delivery is brilliant. Compared to lack of bang for buck dominoes and papa john’s scarcely offers, firezza is leagues ahead. Favourite pizza delivery in London.

I read the poor reviews but decided to order and try this place out anyway. Most of the negative reviews concerned the long wait times but that was not the case for me. I received my order in 15-20 mins and was happy with the delivery.
The issue is with the actual pizza. I ordered a 10" Margherita and Carne pizza. Both were decent sizes for the price so no complaints there. But the taste? Abysmal. And the reason is simply a lack of salt and a lack of cook time. The corner crusts were uncooked, I could squeeze the dough and it smelt uncooked as well. The middle parts were cooked well but there was absolutely no salt. It tasted bad. Then there was the excess flour. I had to pat off the flour on the crust and bottom of the pizza. No pizza needs that much flour once out the oven. Please look into this.
The only positives for the pizza were the toppings. The cheese was nice, the pepperoni was nice as was the cajun chicken. There were only 4 tiny pieces of pepperoni on my pizza however which was an issue but not that big of a deal.
In conclusion, use salt in the dough, cook it for longer to make sure the crust is edible and use less flour once the pizza is out of the oven please...
