Reviews of Roasted

My mum and I randomly stumbled on this place and we were so impressed. We ordered coffees, the med sandwich and a cinnamon roll. The best oat milk latte I’ve had in ages, the sandwich and the dessert were bursting with flavour. The playlist and decor gave the cafe a really homely, welcoming atmosphere.

We popped in here for lunch while at the Strathaven balloon festival. The food was fantastic, top quality toasties, delicious bread, the brisket just melted, different and delicious salads. The atmosphere was great, and despite being really busy with eat in and takeaway customers the staff were all cheerful and friendly. I even heard them talking about how lovely it was to be so busy and to see new faces, what a breath of fresh air. There's a plaque on the wall saying they are a living wage employer, maybe this explains the happy attitude of the staff, but I think it's more likely they're high on the delicious aroma of all the freshly baked goodies. Whatever it is I'm looking forward to returning, and I hope this fantastic business continues to grow.
