Nice little place. Good sausage rolls and steak pies. Good selection of malts. Draught and bottles. Dogs, walkers and even cyclists welcome!

Local wateringhole with great selection of local dram! Would recommend to visit any time. Inclusing free advice from locals on what to drink😉

What a great find! Really nice to see a new pub, nicely done out and properly run in the lovely Strathdon valley. Arriving on my bike with my daughter it was great to find the bar warm and cosy courtesy of a roaring wood fired stove. Service was super friendly and the food was very tasty. My daughter particularly appreciated the vegetarian options on the menu. Excellent music playlist too. Recommended.

I love this place! There's inside and outside seating. Inside is cozy and homey. There was a band playing outside as well as in. There was a food truck but I didn't try the food.

Brilliant experience. Dark and wet outside and quite late whenever we arrived but nothing was a problem, good beer and brilliant food. Sausage rolls and pies the highlights. They’d run out of some of the meat and very kindly swapped in sausage rolls and gave us a free round to apologise !

Brilliant wee spot! We visited one Saturday evening whilst staying nearby. Staff were very friendly, the place is nicely decorated, and it had a nice buzz about it - we got there about 7pm and the last few tables were taken shortly thereafter. They have an excellent drinks selection - especially whisky and gin, but also a nice range of non-alcoholic options which I appreciated as the designated driver. We had one of their pizzas made to order in the pizza oven outside, which was absolutely delicious. Other food options are more like light bites and nibbles rather than full meals, with a couple of sharing platter options - we didn't sample any of these but I wish we had as they looked delicious! Will definitely visit again if I'm back in the area.

Great atmosphere with comfortable leather chairs and a welcoming fire. Staff are super friendly and incredibly helpful - nothing is too much trouble. And I could relate to the other customers who were a mine of local information and helpful suggestions.

Gorgeous little bar with really friendly staff, and great tequila and a roaring fire :) big open space inside and not mega busy, mostly locals. A nice outdoor area with cover and some nights they have a great wood fired pizza van come visit! One star down because the music vibe was somewhat strange.
