Ducked in for “take-away” sandwiches. Super-fresh rolls. Only £ 2.50 for a chicken or tuna salad.

I personally really appreciate the products I can get in this local shop. The range of local goods is great to see. I used the post office services today and the staff member that served me was extremely helpful and patient with me. I then got a bit of a yap to the staff and that is what makes thing's so important to keep these local shops thriving. I so appreciate the service and this shop and I would like to commend all involved.

Nice they're open "early" and easy to grab and go. The non-meat eater selection is limited for a bakery but can find something and it's good.

Amazing crean filled doughnut!!! Quite literally the best I've ever had.
Also, awesome little grocery store but don't expect to park close to it, will need to walk a couple of minutes.

Lovely little bakery that has some hot food options available. It was perfect on a cold rainy day for a spot to eat. Especially when all other food places seemed to be closed.

Great shop.
Highland Park whisky, Peedie Tatties and all the other less decadent stuff you might need on your visit to Stromness.
The bakery stuff isn't too shabby either!

Argo's Bakery is one of the traditional establishments in Orkney. A place to buy your Flakey biscuits, Bere bannocks, macaroni pies, mince rolls and other varied products. The main bakery is at Cairston Road but its outlet shop sells a whole wheen of ware. Well recommended for locals and tourists alike

Orkney bakery with shops in Kirkwall and Stromness. Gotta try their Beef and Tattie Roll (puff pastry with beef and potato inside) only place I've come across this and it's one of my favourites.
