Quiet, smart and nice staff. A tech glitch meant our meal had a 25 minute delay. Food was good both in taste and presentation though my moules were a tad salty. Limited wine list but the Chianti we chose to go with the lamb shanks was clean and decent. All in all a nice surprise of a place

Our first visit, will definitely be going back , only knowing the location from years ago, I was pleasantly surprised at both the interior and the view.
Service quick and friendly, no delays on food or drinks.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals ,the mussels plump , not as so often elsewhere when overcooked and shriveled.
Only two minor moans, Ilike my veg well overcooked not the modern way ,but that's the same everywhere and please don't put gravy on top of the steak and ale pie ,the top crust shouldn't be soggy, that said I didn't leave anything.Well done see you again soon.

Loved this place so much!! Delicious vegan roast!! Wonderful customer service from everyone who served us! Beautiful setting and a great atmosphere inside! A little random date night for me & my partner, he's been going on for ages about coming here again since being redone! Wow a absolute amazing place to visit, amazing food, polite/friendly staff. Just all in all brilliant.

Went to a wake for my Uncle and the service was brilliant, and with a smile, was a beautiful day so ended up on the terraced area over looking the harbour just lovely.

The food they provided at my uncles wedding was fantastic I couldn’t find a fault. Me and my family will definitely be coming back a lot more :)

This place is literally a Gem. Never been here before and went for the Sunday carvery with family. Never have I ever been beaten by my food but I had to leave a Yorkie lol. The dinner sizes are absolutely without a doubt well worth the money and the trip down there. Will recommend to friend and family 100%.

We had a table of 12 dinner booking last night, it was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress Sheila was amazing, very friendly, efficient & great service. The food was soooo soooo nice, every single starter and main course was delicious. I am very fussy so asked them to make me a halloumi burger which wasn’t on the menu and it was so yummy! Lovely outdoor seating for warmer weather looking over the water and boats. We will definitely be back. Thank you

It was a really pleasant place, it is previously known as the Riverside tavern but it has changed to the boat Inn. There was really friendly staff there which were really polite. Definitely as I asked a few different questions they were able to help out!
The food was hit, miss and a hit. The appetiser, garlic mushrooms were honestly incredibly tasty and gave me a craving for a second round. The vegan hamburger in my opinion was not tasty, very dry and not so good. However I think with vegan meat dishes is always a hit or miss, in this case it was a miss. The dessert did save it though and I would have a perfect 3 meal dish for £14. I definitely felt I got value for my money and the pints there were not too expensive either.
They have a really nice outdoor space and great indoor place as well. There was also designated outdoor speakers and the music they played was top hits or previously top hits which I thought was very nice and trendy. Very nearly set up with even designer candles! Small details like that make a place.
